I purchased a 2 pack of the Opti-Free puremoist solution from Walgreens on 12/17/2022. I used this in my eye before I noticed a very foul, moldy smell and realized it was the contact solution. I have contacted Alcon 4 times regarding this issue, and have not had a response. I would like a refund, but maybe more importantly, I think they should look into this lot of product, and issue a recall! For anyone else who is concerned, it's lot #118Y6 exp 2025-05-31.
User's recommendation: Don't buy.

Verified Reviewer New ReviewerMold or mildew in solution
My solution smells of mildew or mold and I have been using it for a while now. This is my first bottle from your company in years and I thought it was my sink that smells. Last night in bed I changed my contacts and I smelled it was coming from the bottle. I looked on a forum page to find out a lot of people have been going through the same issue and have contacted your company as well. There needs to be a massive recall? This is very unsanitary and potentially fatal. I hope there is a class action lawsuit against your company. This is unheard of.

Recall of product
Alcon needs to be responsible and do the right thing. A recall is necessary before a true medical lawsuit is filed. I experienced blurred vision after putting in my contacts with the Replenish Solution, exp date 5/31/25.
