Alcolock install and removal and rodent damage
- - Alcolock wires were chewed by rodents.
- - Paid $1200 on Dec 21; $2200 for tow/labor.
- - Feb 8 uninstall: device removed; car won't start; keys in gas cap; BBB will reach out; accountability sought.
Due to the wires of the alcolock system being soy based our wires were chewed by rodents in our driveway. Once on December 21st for a total of 1200 dollars( you have the receipts) and than again on uninstall date on February 8th.
On uninstall date the technician removed device to car not starting, than pushed our vehicle out of his garage put keys in gas cap washed his hands of it. With tow and 14 hours of labor at the dealership there is another 2200 dollars( which you also have receipts for. Also contacted the better business bureau.
They will be receaching out on my behalf also well. Looking for some retribution and accountability for a program that was followed to a tee on my end but not on yours.

They're crooked and have terrible customer service agents who shouldn't need counseling and sessions with a shrink.
They lied about contacting me over a charge needed to pay. Simply put there were no voicemails. All said and done I was revoked my unit and lisence is now suspended for two years.

Had device
- - Confusion over blow and go vs eligibility.

The person in charge at the company was doing my paperwork and was confused in regarding when I could get a blow and go in my car versus my eligibility date. The eligibility date was for full restoration not Blow and Go eligibility.
Also this device requires you to hum and blow at the same time.
And it is really difficult. I went to Intoxalock and was much happier their system has a blow in blow out blow in requirement two seconds in three seconds out two seconds in which is more manageable

Looking online, it doesn’t look like there is any manufacturer’s warranty coverage. If you have comprehensive on your auto policy it should be covered.
