Unprofessional
The entire Administration, Front Desk and Counselors employees are Racist. They Verbally abuse residents.
The Counselors rarely assist and support the residents. Albany Care is an SMRH. They are not being responsible for assisting residents.
Residents are afraid to make a Complaint; for fear of Retaliation from the staff. The positive side: House Keeping
Food Service Maintenance and Nursing Care is Impeccable.
- Unprofessional staff
Preferred solution: Hire Professionals. Get rid of Illegal Drug Activity. Hire MHPS with Empathy. Work with the City of Evanston. Don't admit people who are on Probation or Parole. This is an Extremely Safety Issue.

Albany Care is a neighborhood bully
I used to be a huge supporter of mental health initiatives until i moved to SE Evanston. I live near this facility and am now fed up.
This facility is enormous and is located between family homes, schools, parks etc. The patients get to roam freely into people's properties and verbally threaten kids. Not to mention the trash and cigarette butts, etc that they scatter everywhere. Why would the city of evanston and state of illinois impose such a huge faicility in this location?
Why can't Albany Care be moved somewhere with less residents and children? Every election i vote against mental health funding because i don't want Albany Care to remain open. I understand that the patients need help but there are so many ways the state can help them without literally placing the patients in other people's backyards. My family and my neighbors all have to put up with this and basically babysit the pateints so they don't destroy our properties and keep our kids safe.
Where is our compensation for doing a job that the staff should be doing? Can we get tax cuts for dealing with this? The staff and visitors aren't any better either. They constantly steal resident parking, disobey rules of the road, block traffic, play loud music at 10pm at night, etc.
And get away with it. Enough is enough!

Albany Care Evanston - A Dangerous with Dangerous People
This is what I experienced and what you can expect from their SSRIs and Antidepressants:
Restlessness
Insomnia
Anxiety
Akathesia
Brain Damage
Suicidal and or Homicidal Ideation / Action
Why are these poisons legal?
They are legal so these misguided and dangerous people and places can have jobs, so psychiatrists can charge hundreds of dollars per hour, so social workers can have jobs and these so called "proferssionals" can make a living at your expense.
All this profit-driven behavior and reckless prescribing of these poisons is so they can addict you to their business model and drugs and keep the money coming in.
Wake up and wean yourselves off of this madness, which is the main reason for the mass-shootings in our country and other problems, like crime along with opioid abuse. Sick, sick, sick!!!

Preferred solution: Complain to the Attorney General and close this dangerous, corrupt facility. Law Suits and Police Reports should be filed by more victims of opioid and psycotripic prescribers/abusers.
