No one showed up to install per company
- - The install was moved from Wednesday to Friday.
- - No show or call after the change; now scheduled for the following Wednesday with no contact.
Install to take place on Wed. Called and said would be rescheduled to Friday.
No show or call. Now going on Wed the following week without a call or text. A simple call back would have resolved everything but not a peep.
Tried calling them and texting but no luck with a returned call or message. Horrible customer service.

- - They spent over $1500 and waited months.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! The very first time and every time I spoke with these people I told them I would be building our floor on concrete blocks.
And, every time Was told "OK". I spent over $1500 for all of the solid concrete block and the lumber and other materials to build our floor and get it level. It took us several months due to weather and time restrictions. I finally got it done, sent in my pictures and ONLY THEN was I told they could not install a shed a wooden floor and concrete blocks.
WHAT!!?? Are you *** kidding me!!?? You just NOW tell me this!!?? After I've spent all that money, and time!!
Are you that incapable of buidling a shed?? I see sheds on concrete blocks and wooden floors all the time. In fact, my brother and I, who aren't professionals, did just that for a smaller shed for my mom just 4 months ago. But, this being a lot bigger, we didn't want to tackle it.
I have never been more disappointed in a so called professional company in all my life. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Tired of waiting
Sent completed foundation pics in over 2 months ago. Still no word on installation!!! I wish l had gone through another company.

They treated me right

Alan himself took care of my order and reduced by 50% what they were charging me for my carport. I am very pleased that they took on my case and dealt with Carolina Carports.
I had no problem whatsoever after that and the installers were friendly, fast and efficient. I am a very pleased customer now.

- - Travel trailer cover is delayed beyond 90 days.
- - Alan offered 10% discount for waiting; later 12% refund for delay.
- - He will ask Carolina Carports for discount.
I bought a carport type cover for my travel trailer from Alan's Factory Outlet who then contracted with Carolina Carports. It has been over 90 days and I still have no cover for my travel trailer.
I brought that up to Alan's Factory Outlet and they apologized and offered me a 10% discount if I could wait for a while longer saying that Carolina Carports was simply overwhelmed with orders because of a price increase. Orders came in before the price increase and mine was one of them. Then today Alan himself sent me an email saying they are refunding 12% instead of 10% because it is over 90 days.
He also said Carolina Carports should also discount my order because of the delay and he is going to contact them to see what he can do to help me.
In my heart I think this is good customer service and I highly recommend doing business with Alan's Factory Outlet. The jury is still out on Carolina Carports though so be careful.
