Played
- - At Alan Webb we faced hours of pressure for an inspection, then bought in 1 hour at Tonkin Toyota/Nissan in Wilsonville with no inspection.
February 16, 2019 went to purchase our leased vehicle. It was a nightmare, being held hostage to purchase their Inspection on the vehicle or not letting us buy the car.
Left and drove to Wilsonville, Oregon to Tonkin TOYOTA / Nissan and purchased the vehicle there in 1 hour, no mention of inspection required. We had been at Alan Webb about 5 miserable hours.
Alan Webb Nissan
- - A faulty charging cable was sold.
- - The dealer wouldn't exchange it.
- - I have an unresolved dispute with Alan Webb Nissan and Nissan HQ re financing.
I have not been able to resolve a conflict with either Alan Webb or the National Headquarters of Nissan about a faulty re-charging cable
and have been basically told to go fight with the manufacturer in another State myself. This re-charging cable was sold to me, and
the dealership knew several had failed to work; and they would not exchange it, they would not send it back and they would not give my 701 back. I have spoken to two or three people at the dealership and to a Nissan representative twice at the headquarters in Tennessee
to no avial. A spot check on the Net revealed that others were "less than satisified" with their dealings with Alan Webb Nissan. My so called credit rating was considerably lower than another dealership gave to me less than ten days later and so I have had the 3.95% rate yanked to a different financial institution. Experiences like this are why the American Public in poll after poll vote car sales men/wome as the lowest and least trust worthy of any business in America. I guess like Whale *** everything eventually settles to the bottom....

"Blown off" like a LEAF
- - In November 2014 I visited Alan Webb Nissan in Vancouver, WA to buy a LEAF.
- - Brian Clark promised financing savings, but the 3.95% loan moved.
In November of 2014 I went into Alan Webb Nissan in Vancouver, WA
with the intent of Purchasing (not leasing) a brand new 1015 LEAF.
The salesman, Brian Clark was nice enough but assured me that if I financed it, instead of purchasing it with a personal check I would save twice as much 2,500 vs 5,000. That is not what happened and even though my credit rating is at the upper ends of "Excellent" I get a high (for me) 3.95% interest rate, the loan has since been taken away to another institution.
My importantly, is a in-house 'faster" charge for 701. "worked" for all of 15 minutes, and when I brought it back, I was told several had not worked recently and it was up to ME to fight with the manufacturer in another state. I contacted Nissan of America twice...and they too would not do anything. The salesman has long quit or been fired, but he is gone.
A company that KNOWINGly sells a expensive product that has a history of failure, and a headquarters nationally that won't do anything...what sort of messed up company IS Nissan and what sort of Dealership is this or ANY Alan Webb dealership....this is the kind of thing that makes the American Public put car sales people, the "experience" and the feeling afterwards at the very bottom of the business world, along with real estate sales people.Disgusting. Devoid of pride at all....
