Apoption nighmare

My husband and i was looking to adopt a puppy. We searched around and found alamo pit bulls. It took them an entire month to get back to me about the pet. After that my application was being passed around to different people. I sent a final message stating my unhappines with the serivce I was receiving, i final was given the dog to have a trial of him living in a new enviroment. upon receiving him, he was starved, bad odor missing spots of hair as well as open sores as if he was being forced to fight or he was being beaten. My husband and I started to treat the wounds he had as well as feed him. the agency seem to foret all about this animail until a recent altercation in which he got loose and was hit by a car. We went through proper channels and contacted them to try and help us locate him before he was hit they stated they would but never did. Now they are saying we forfit our fee for him and we cant even get him back. Some of the reps are rude and have now full understanding of an animal in need i would never recommend anyone to them ever.

let me elaborate... at no point did you mention the dog seeing a vet.

you did not mention how long the dog had been gone before it was hit.

I only adopt pitts, usually bait for fighting dogs(runts), and the rescues are all about finding them good homes. I find your claim to be inaccurate - there must be more to the story.

something doesn't pass the sniff test here ...
