AI Highlights
  • - Under Dr. Regina Doody for ~6 years.
  • - Prescribed excessive benzodiazepines and sedatives.
  • - Not told meds were short-term/PRN; grand mal seizure occurred.

I was a patient of Dr. Regina Doody for approximately 6 years.

While under her care, I was prescribed excessive quantities of benzodiazepines and sedative hypnotic drugs. I was not told that these medications should only be taken short term or on an as needed basis. Subsequently, I had a grand mal seizure and nearly bit my tongue off. Instead of accepting accountability for her actions, she attempted to have me admitted to a psychiatric hospital.

Upon switching doctors, she refused to release my medical records to cover up her negligence. I feel as if she let me down as a patient and she cant be trusted.

Cons:
  • Medical negligence unethical conduct

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Avoid Dr. Regina Doody
