Aksa Power Generation

On 19/08/2022 at around 03:00 at night, after a few explosions from the Aksa Generator brand generator in my residence, the flames started to rise, then the fire grew and spread to the roof of the house. As soon as I became aware of the incident, I evacuated the house with my children for their lives and notified the fire brigade.

As determined by the fire brigade, the cause of the fire was the failure of the generator. I made a serious effort to minimize the damage until the fire brigade arrived and my legs were burned during the intervention. In addition, when we watched the video recordings of the cameras in the residence, we saw that the Aksa brand generator suddenly exploded and started to catch fire without any reason or intervention, causing a fire. Although the generator was kept in an open area as stated in the user manual of the Aksa Generator and all requirements, including installation and maintenance, were fully fulfilled by me, the life safety of me and my children was endangered due to the fire that broke out for no reason.

If we had not realized that the fire broke out at night because we were awake, we could have faced a much bigger and terrible consequence. The area where the generator was kept and all my belongings in the area became unusable, and I experienced a serious victimization due to the panic and shock I experienced.

Subsequently, I filed a lawsuit against Aksa Power Generation for my material damage due to the major accident we experienced. In the lawsuit, Aksa Power Generation demanded the dismissal of the lawsuit due to the lack of an invoice, which is not in accordance with justice, despite its fault arising from production.

Moreover, although they were aware of my victimization, neither Aksa Power Generation nor its lawyers contacted me at any stage, and my damage and victimization were not compensated even by means other than litigation, nor were they even offered. As a result, I could not compensate for the moral and material damage I experienced with my children due to the fire, and I had to deal with litigation processes.
