Poor experience

I had heard good things about Aitoro and went two weeks ago and based on a friends recommendation met with Jesse Vargas. We went thru the store and afterwards he indicated that we would be hearing from him shortly. Two weeks have passed and cant get any information. Tried to call and email but nothing but crickets. Called last week and spoke to one of the managers, Anthony, who promised that Jesse would call. Still nothing. Oh, it also turns out that one of the employees in the store had tested positive for Covid the day before we were in the store. It would have been considerate if that had been mentioned but again nothing. We mentioned that my wife was interior decorator you would think they would have been accommodating since not only was our business at play but also my wifes customers. Learned my lesson and will look elsewhere.

Beware!

Beware! We have used Aitoro for several purchases and service calls, but are no longer customers. They have misrepresented appliance status, even to the point of recommending a sub-zero replacement when a second opinion revealed a $30 parts repair. The technicians are narrowly trained, and are not able to offer creative solutions, and when I spoke with a manager at the store, they were unwilling to refund the service call where inaccurate and incomplete information was provided. They promise low pricing on new appliances, but manipulate condition during service calls. Their initial response to my service questions was rude and aggressive. There are many other appliance service providers with better skills and customer service!

Every appliance we have purchased from Aitoro over the past 4 years has broke within 2 years. I have replaced a washing machine and dryer 2x in the past 4 years and now the washer is broke again.

The service team was out yesterday and found *** in the hose, have that replaced for $200 and as soon as they leave the washer is making a metal on metal sound as its agitating. The GE built in microwave has been replaced 2x in the past 3 years each costing $900.

Wondering if they are selling 2nds? We have tried GE Profile, Maytag and Frigidaire thinking another brand may be better than the other, unfortunately all of these break within a very short amount of time....seems exactly when the Aitoro warranty expires so do our appliances.

Aitoro Appliance lied to me and ripped me off

I'd like to submit this review regarding Aitoro Appliances in Norwalk, Connecticut. Six years ago, we purchased a GE Profile refrigerator from Aitoro. The refrigerator was delivered and failed "out of the box"; it never cooled down. I called after 24 hours had elapsed and requested a replacement. I was told "Sorry -- you've got to take it up with G.E. now -- it's not our problem." After applying some pressure, they grudgingly agreed to provide us with a replacement. This August, the refrigerator failed completely. We contacted Aitoro and asked for a refrigerator repairperson to come out and have a look. We were told by this individual that the control panel needed to be replaced. We waited for two weeks for the part to come in. After the control panel was replaced, the refrigerator STILL didn't work. I requested another service visit and was told this time that the compressor was broken and that we might as well purchase a new refrigerator since it would be too expensive to replace the compressor. We gave up and decided to purchase another G.E. Profile refrigerator from another appliance shop and reconciled ourselves to throwing our existing refrigerator away. The new appliance salesperson kindly offered to repair, if possible, our existing refrigerator free of charge. He came out to look at it and, within fifteen minutes, had diagnosed the problem. Control panel and compressor are fine; the refrigerator had run out of FREON. Seems like freon level would be the first thing any decent, competent repairperson would look at, right??? He topped up the freon and the refrigerator is now working perfectly. So we spent $450 and waited for weeks with no refrigeration due to what I consider to be a deliberate, premeditated ripoff on Aitoro's part. It's well-known that replacing control panels can be lucrative. I received a refund from Aitoro (after waiting for weeks and having to call and bug them to send me the check) for the control panel only. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to report my experiences with them. I am disgusted with Aitoro, have found their customer service representatives to be apathetic at best (and downright nasty and rude at worst), and will never, ever purchase anything from them again. I've no idea how they have established their supposedly "wonderful" reputation. DON'T EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM AITORO APPLIANCE. You will be very disappointed.
