AirTurn Tap is not market ready. DO NOT BUY!
- - Manufacturer admitted the issue but refused a refund.
- - NZ jazz musician bought it to turn sheet music pages; it triggers unwanted page turns.
In August 2015 I purchased a product which turned out to not be market ready. The manufacturer, who admitted (in writing) to the problem, has refused to supply a refund, directing me to the retailer who sold it. Fair enough, but too much time has passed and it no longer meets the return criteria for that retailer. The manufacturer should be taking responsibility.
I am a professional musician (jazz drummer) in New Zealand and bought this to turn sheet music pages on the band stand. The problem is unwanted page turns, triggered by sound, which makes it completely useless for its intended application.
AVOID! Wait for a better product to hit the market. It's early days for this type of device.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Ditto, within the first day, the charging jack came unsoldered, the unit turns pages randomly if anywhere near a drum or cymbal (real convenient for a drummer) and it doesn't receive a signal via the USB charging cable, ONLY via Bluetooth which is another point of failure. Have to keep re-pairing. Great concept, just needs serious bugs worked out.
