Simple booking time change

Their website is BS... Had my 76 Mom frustrated and feeling like she's stupid for @2 hours....
Help section tells you to simply go to My Trips to modify your reservation.. When you get there and pull it up all you can do is cancel it.. Thanks Help tab.. Worse, if it's possible than their Contract Us tab...
We'll get back to you within 12 hours.. Cool.. Except they send a useless reply... Ridiculous..

I've used airportrentalcars.com dozens of times with no issue's....... until today.
i made a reservation for noon a full size for pick up at 3700 ashland ave in green bay and drop off in Pittsburgh International. when i called hertz to tell them i was arriving they said they see the reservation but its for the airport location( kind of a big deal since i was already there in an uber) so i head to the airport to pick up. i check in with the hertz rep and shes going over the order with me and asks if id like to purchase insurance (which i already purchased on line) i pulled out my itinerary and showed her id purchased it. she says it not in the system.
She then tells me that my credit cards declined. i asked how because the cost of the rental was only 64 dollars and i had an available balance of 170.00 on my card. she then tells me because theres a 300.00 security deposit. In my itinerary there is no mention of a 300.00 deposit.
now im pissed. stranded in green bay had to pay 460 for a flight with my debit card as opposed to a 150.00 road trip.
i call customer service and to their defense it seems like they are trying to work something out. however we will see
Wrong airport? really!

I made a reservation using airportcarrental.com. I flew into OHare in Chicago on May 16.
When I got to the counter, I was told that my reservation had been changed by airport rental cars.com to Midway. Now, understand, after I made online reservation, I called the 800 number listed on airportcarrental.com and confirmed the details of the reservation, including my American Airlines flight info so a shuttle could pick me up. Since Budget showed a Midway Airport pick up, I had to pay over $200 for a three day rental, as opposed to the $72 dollar rental on airport car rental.com. Also, the website said that Budget's debit card policy required a printed confirmation of return flight.
That is incorrect.
BUDGET places an extra $200 hold on debit cards until you return the vehicle.
Confirmed reservation not confirmed at all
- - Booked via Airportrentalcars.com for Cabo; no car at pickup, the $180 booking not honored, and we were redirected to a different rental.
I booked a car from Airportrentalcars.com for a trip we made to Cabo. They confirmed it when we booked it, and again I got an email a few days before we left to confirm.
We arrived to pick up the car and there was none. We had a car booked for $180.00 and they could only give us one for $600.00. They ended up driving us to another rental car company to rent a $500.00 car.
I contacted Airportrentalcars.com and was told to contact advantage/hertz (with whom I had not made the reservation)to complain. I reserved from Airportrentalcars.com and they could not help me.
They took and confirmed our booking but could not provide the car booked and would not take any responsibility for lack of the service booked.
If they could not guarantee the booking why make it? They should not be making reservations if they cannot be honored once confirmed.
