Need information regarding my new airplus dehumidifier

had a question about a product that I had ordered through Amazon was not a product supplied by this company. Person I spoke with Marie courteous, and tried to help me, but no avail.

Owner manual does not explain the different modes of operation or what the the display means.

I wanted to call the Airplus company to simply get information how the different functions of their dehumidifier worked and how to use the control panel buttons to utilize all the features. None of this very basic information is in the owners manual. When I called the customer service number and told them what I was searching for, they asked if I bought the item from Amazon and I replied yes. I was told that their company (Air Plus ) does not make dehumidifiers and they get calls all the time from customers with basically the same story. She said she thinks the units are manufactured in China under the Air Plus name but it is not affiliated with their company. So basically I struck out !

User's recommendation: Don’t buy this brand of product because if it doesn’t work correctly or breaks down quickly you may never be able to contact anyone to fix the problem. I plan to return the unit to Amazon tomorrow.

Totally quit working after 10 months. Horrible product!!! I would hope that something like this should last longer than it did. It has also been very hard to find information in who to contact. I would never recommend anyone to purchase from this company.

We purchased this and it worked fine but quit after just 10 months of use. I cannot believe a product like this only works for that amount of time. I am upset and would NEVER recommend this to anyone!

Dehumidifier quit working

Called the number for claim. They told me they didnt deal with that kind of issue and they said I had to call the manufacturer,which was in California. They didnt have a number for them!

Dont know why my Airplus Dehumidifier isnt working probablyLeakingwater isnt draining through hose.. the tank isnt full of water..yet it still leaking from the bottom

AIRPLUS SPRINGFIELD, VIRGINIA (HVAC)

Absolutely terrible customer service. I contacted Airplus last year to install a HVAC unit because we didn't have any heat. My Insurance company offered to pay for the service and after the work was complete the insurance company came out to review the bill. The Insurance company only came out to do a review to ensure that the amount was legitimate and that the company was official. Well I work for the Department of Army, I was deployed during the time in which I wanted to get service on the unit so I had to reschedule several times to get the inspection for the unit. Well on today 18 August I finally received a call from a technician to come out and service the unit and I was refused serving halfway through the INSPECTION. Totally not right as far as customer service goes. Since I am a Contract Officer with the Department of Army I plan to submit my complaint to the Small business office as well as other websites so that consumers will be aware of the dissatisfaction I received.
