My flight was delayed from sfo to SAN, and i missed my connecting flight. i caught the next flight available next day

My flight was from SFO to Edmonton, Canada. Unfortunately, the flight from SFO was delayed and it reached SAN almost 3 hours late.

My connecting flight from SAN to Calgary had already departed. I ended up staying overnight in SAN, also purchasing a new ticket from SAN to Calgary and then onto Edmonton. I emailed Airhelp, and they refused to honor my request for a refund. This is a scam of the worst type.

I thought I purchased insurance for the flight, not a service to represent me dealing with the ticket agency (KIWI) who sold the ticket to me.

This is terrible and there is no phone number to call. I need to contact BBB.

Airline continued to refuse to notify the airline they are no longer representing me and in bath faith blocking my access to the claim

AirHelp's refusal to inform the airline of the termination of our agreement, while still being the sole point of contact and claiming ownership of the claim, amounts to a clear case of bad faith and unlawful obstruction. Despite repeated requests, they have neglected their moral and legal duty, hindering my access to rightful compensation. This unethical behavior reflects poorly on their integrity and professionalism.
