Absolutely the best customer service @ 4810 Vasquez
- - Pleasant surprise at Vasquez after South Platte closed; courteous staff.
- - Richard and Dave were kind, made me feel welcome, and swapped tanks.
Was so pleasantly surprised. After driving to South Platte, Which is now closed.
I headed to the Vasquez location. Richard and Dave are so nice and courteous. They truly had amazing sense of humor and made me feel, as if I had been coming there for years. As a women, they never made me feel stupid.
My husband sent me and told me some gas that started with an A. They knew exactly what is was. Got me handled and even switched the tanks out of my vehicle for me.
I am telling you, customer service still exist. Also, the show room was amazing and fully stocked.
Great experience. Can't wait to go back.

AirGas ripped me off today
- - Praxair charges $55 for a 55-60 CF Ar tank swap; Airgas charged $98 for the same tank, and the customer won't return.
I usually get my 55-60 CF Ar tank swapped at Praxair which costs me $55 out the door.
Today they didnt have my tank size to swap. He said they could get me some in 2 days, but I needed it now.
They recommended I go down the street to Airgas.
Airgas charged me $98 for swapping the same size tank. I questioned them and told them thats almost double what Praxair charges.
He said there have been price increases and gave me more BS lines on how good their Ar was.
I bought it bc I needed it today, but will NEVER go back to them again.
I stopped at Praxair on my way home just to again verify the price they charge, still $55 out the door. 2 years ago it was $43.

Lack of knowledge!
- - Visited Airgas on 9/8/23 for a rose bud tip and a can of 6012.
- - The counter staff appeared inexperienced.
- - Now uses Wharton as the new spot.

Overbilling and send us to collections
- - Billed for gas cylinder rentals at our apartment.
- - We don't have any gas cylinders at that location.
- - We were overcharged and sent to collections.
Avoid this company at all cost!!! They billed us for gas cylinder rental on our apartment complex, which we are only using for billing purposes.

They also charged us for cylinder rentals that we don't even have!!! We overpaid and now, they have the audacity to send us to collections!!!

- - Replaced a 20 lb CO2 tank; the new one was empty.
- - Staff argued; blamed hoses and said no regulator to test full/empty; Mr Ortega won't return.
I swapped out a
20 Ibs co2 but the" new one" was empty. I thought it wouldn't be a problem going back and telling them and giving them a chance to make it right!
Nope. He argued with me.
Blamed my hoses and when I said I have a back up system that works fine with the same hoses. He argued even more saying
"how do I know u didn't use it all over the weekend? Or u have a leak" I asked 4 the rank to be put in a regulator and check.
He says "we don't have one". Airgas, they sell gas and tanks and they don't have a way to check and see his full or empty a tank is?
Incompetent, if u ask me. Anyway, poor poor
POOR customer service MR Ortega.
Never ever will I return.
And u lost a customer over a $50 refill. Terrible customer service.

Placed order & received an email that the order can not be placed due to not being able to confirm the information provided.
Rather strange an online retailer would question the credibility of a gift card being used. How many times must a potential customer type, "it's a prepaid gift card"?
To Airgas, that is not good enough.

- - Rates were raised on a predatory contract after negotiations; NDA was violated by contacting another vendor and a rep urged them not to do business with us.
This company not only raised our rates on their predatory contract after we tried to negotiate the terms but they violated our NDA by contacting another vendor we do business with after we allowed them onsite to evaluate our needs. This customer service rep actually went out of his way to ask the other vendor to not do business with us.
Immoral, illegal, and absolutely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and do business with literally ANY other business for your needs.

Hello,
My company needed safety gear and some special orders.
I get a prices then order and I am told we do not have anything in stock.
It must all be outsourced and weeks to ship or deliver.
Then I am told but for all these fees we can have it here in just a day.
Airgas is scam of pay fees and over pay.
So then I leave and do little bit of homework and get all I need for a third less.
And in less than 9hrs and boss says great job an says my pay looking better.
Thanks Airgas!
This is typical of the company. They should change their motto to "We can back order it for you". You also have to watch your bills for "standard" price increases and accurate returns and cylinder counts on your rental.

Yes Avoid!!! Happened to us too!! For years we used this company no issues then bam got billed for rental bottles, we contacted them to get it straightened out thought It was taken care of them bam got a collection notice over $500.00.
