ESIM in Brazil - no internet

After installation of the Airalo eSIM, I was struggling with the settings for days without getting connected to the internet and finally tried to contact Airalos customer support.
While waiting for the reply I installed a Saily eSIM. All I had to do was to click install and select the new eSIM on the Mobile Service page, and I had access to the internet in a few minutes.
I wish Airalo had a money-back-guarantee!

When I test connection I get message:

I spent 6 hours trying to install the $66 Airalo eSIM. For some reason, every time I tried to send a screenshot, it was blank.
The agents are hopeless. One agent gave me a code for a checkout discount of up to $7. The coupon expired 17 days before the day that she gave it to me. When I asked one agent for instructions that did not include a QR code, she sent me instructions which required that I use a QR code.
On 8 separate occasions, agents recommended that I click on non-existent links. One agent told me to access the APN. When I asked for instructions on how to find the APN, it took him 13 minutes to share the instructions with me. One agent sent me the installation instructions for a Samsung phone, after I told them that I had a Motorola phone.
I gave up and asked for a refund. After I described all these snafus, they offered me $7 in Airalo money so that I could pay for more services and more snafus. I bought the Airalo eSIM in the morning that I arrived in Rio de Janeiro on a cruise.
I spent 6 hours with Airalo agents. It ruined my day in Rio.

my wife and I both bought before leaving the USA to go to Costa Rica. after it failed to connect, we both contacted our phone service providers.
both Verizon and T-Mobile said it would be fine. for 2 weeks in the jungle and along the coast, we had no service provided. my wife did chat. she spent 2 hours, still nothing.
we demand not only our money back but instructions on how to make it work as we travel a lot. please help, as they have no customer service.

I am warning anyone considering Airalo: do not trust this company. My account was hacked, my password was changed without my knowledge, and someone made fraudulent purchases through my Airalo account.
I immediately contacted support; it took them over 12 hours to even respond. When they finally did, they refunded only one of the unauthorized charges. I had to go through my credit card company myself to fight the rest of the fraudulent activity. Even worse, after I tried to delete my account (thinking it was safe), the hacker somehow got back in and charged even more using the 'credit' Airalo had left.
Clearly, their security measures are incredibly weak, and they do not take hacking seriously. Customer service was slow, dismissive, and unhelpful. They offered no real support, no apology, no urgency at all.
It's horrifying how little they seem to care about the safety of their customers' personal information and money. After digging around, I found many other people reporting the exact same issues: hacked accounts, unauthorized charges, and terrible customer service.

Good news - Airalo has been very prompt in their response and within few hours have issued a full refund after disabling their issued eSIM to which I agreed..thanks!
I signed up for 10 days unlimited data/text service package for India on March 31st as my family was/is traveling to southern part of India and thought theyd be able to use it..Unfortunately this turned out to be big penny wise pound foolish mistake as theyve been unable to use the eSIM & ended up getting Verizons global plan costing significantly higher but providing excellent connectivity..I am terribly disappointed because I was hoping to avail eSIM for all my future travels..Be sure to check out the connectivity & speed!

I was charged $17.00 and never managed to activate the app on my phone. I would like to request a credit, please.
My husband also tried to activate it on his phone and was unsuccessful. Thus, we have two credit cards, each charged $17.00, with no usage.
My cousin, who traveled with us, was able to activate hers. I should not be charged for this as it was never activated and used.

I choose this service because others had recommended the service. Not because it was the cheapest option. I was not looking to whine about it, I wanted other to know my experience to prevent them from having the same issues.
