I paid a deposit of $950 and I moved out on September 2. A neighbor of mine told me that you tenants moved in less than 24 hours after I moved out.
However the complex wants to not give me back any deposit or any portion of the deposit and actually wants to charge me I believe 142 more dollars. I do not leave the apartment dirty, and I do not think thatThe wear and tear from living in that unit amounts to that amount.I was a very good tenant I paid every month on time and now Im having a hard time with Covid because Im losing hours with my job.
Please let me know what we can do or what options there are. Thank you very much please get back to me at your earliest convenience

My mother lives in Royal Crest apartments in North Andover MA. I'm having an issue with something over there, and I'm getting nowhere with Royal Crest.
I thought I would contact you people to help with my problem, but can't get anyone on the phone. I'm finding Aimco to be a huge disappointment.

Got REALLY SICK with MOLD Illness in their apartments
- - Mold in our AIMCO apartment caused lasting health issues, including nosebleeds.
- - AIMCO reportedly painted over mold in the HVAC to hide it.
6 years later I am STILL healing from the mold that was in the apartment that I rented from AIMCO.
The kids in the apartment above me had nose bleeds from the mold.
AIMCO tried to hide the mold in the HVAC by painting over it.
I went into this apartment totally healthy. Never had a broken bone and barely sick in my life. I have multiple health issues that I am still doctoring due to this EVIL company.

People should know how bad this company is

If you want to live with mice, cockroaches, broken washing machines, broken security doors, broken elevators, no electricity in the storage unit, homeless living in the building, dirty hallways, leaking ceiling at the entry door, broken exercise equipment, broken screens, missing screens then you will love Bayberry Hill Estates! The management is guaranteed to ignore you and maybe even treat you poorly, as they have with so many others. Do yourself a favor and find a better place than thin horrible place.

HARASSED BY MANAGMENT AT HERITAGE PARK SR. APTS.

Being a disabled 71 year old woman with Section 8, there aren't very many 'senior' apts. available in San Diego County. Well, unfortunately, because of financial reasons, I was 'forced' to stay at this complex for 13 years. Like one of the other past residents complained here, I was served an 'illegal' 30-day notice to quit without reason. If you are on Section 8, the management has to have a 'reason' to vacate you. It's the law!
Fortunately, at this same time, by the grace of God, another opportunity came up for me to move to another apt. complex, which I had been on a waiting list for 3 years. Consequently, I got out right before Christmas! Almost 2 mos. later, I received a billing statement from their 'corporate' office telling me I owed them over $2,000 in damages. What a joke! I was also harassed by their accounting people and even a para-legal to pay up or else!!! I finally had to take them to small claims, and I WON!!! and even got my original $779 security deposit back. But to have to go thru all this was very nerve wracking, and this was all do to retribution by the manager, Michelle Nelson, because I went over her head to complain about 'no parking' for visitors, which she changed 3 times over a period of 2 mos. You cannot complain about ANYTHING, or bug her to get something fixed because you will be TARGETED, and God help you what she will try and do to you. She has been manager for 9 years, and have moved out many residents that didn't deserve her wrath. If I was rich and could afford it, I'd find a lawyer that would have her investigated, and hopefully the information would cause Aimco to fire her on the spot.
Please do not subject yourself to this horrible person. She's like a Cheshire cat, all smiles at first; but her claws are very sharp!!! If you want to rent anyway, just be prepared, what you see might not be what you'll get!!!
JFYI Aimco insisted on putting in Stadium Led Lights, 4 of them that were aimed directly into my apt. They refused to dim them, or put in less invasive lighting. That was only one of the harassment issues over 9 years!!!![]()

The leasing staff is very friendly and courteous however, this property is poorly maintained and in need of major renovation. The condition of this apartment at move in was unacceptable.
Dingy old appliances, The bathroom sink was clogged, the dishwasher doesn't drain, there are two lighting fixture that were discovered to be broken on the second day, the Ac filters were dirty and the Ac air return were absolutely filthy. I also suspect there may be mold in the Ac/heating system as the apartment has a moldy smell and my family has been coughing, sneezy and stuffy since moving.
I'm very dissatisfied with my experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone other than a refugee.
