I returned from Ireland almost 10 years ago. I lived there for 7 years (2007-****).

THE WORST CUSTOMER "NON" " SERVICE"

I have been an AB IE customer for 51 years NB AIB NI NOT AIB IE.

Now due to the incompetence of AIB IE staff I have £150 plus 1 credit card and a cheque book, no debit card. I have been trying to get help for 5 days.

Sat 27/1 a man called AGHMED answered me and called me SIR . AIB IE must be very hard up to have a call handler at 7 pm who can't even tell my gender .

I also note that no call handler in the Irish Republic knows how to address a much older lady or gentleman as young men and women in their 20s call me by my 1st name.. I assume that every young person must have some up breeding and, like I was, is taught some manners I am a PH.D and live by strict moral standards and never address anyone in such a manner I have now left AIB IE for good At my age and state of health it will be a big change but worth it Sorry but I am 69 and can't drag or drop photos to prove my review I hope you will accept it any way.AVOID AIB IE LIKE THE PLAGUE

Mortgage rate change

I have submitted a rate change with aib mortgages and made numerous calls to enquire the delay. I posted rate change form late September and confirmation of receipt to mortgage dept on 29.09.23.

This has still not been administered.

Can you please make amendment urgently on our mortgage account as we are struggling with cost of living today. I have copied this message and will be forwarding to the ombudsmen financial services as this is an absolute disgrace.
