- - Purchased AHS 01/2019; first service 06/2021, timely.
- - 2023 service declined: burners down 04/23; AC delayed 2 weeks by vendor paperwork.
NI purchased AHS 01/2019 and my first service call, was 6/2021. Service was pretty good and timely.
Then came 2023 and service for this company is unheard of. My flat top range front burners went down 4/23 and after several calls it was repaired 07/23.
My AC also broke 7/23 and it took 2 weeks to get someone out to fix with triple digits temperature s.It was replaced 2 days later on a Saturday and I call on a Monday and was told that they had not received any paperwork from the vendor in July/23 and they could not pay for the replacement of the A.C. .$9852.00
I went to the vendor last week and stood there while they resented the report to AHS and have yet to receive $1.00. But they make sure they take my payment on time every month.
I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and this company is a rip off.
Take those payments you give them and open your own repair account.
I am struggling to pay the bank for this AC myself. Please do a good research on any and every company before you sign up for their service

Verified ReviewerI first enrolled in this company in 1988 for my home in Texas, I had to call them for my ac compressor over a holiday weekend and my unit was replaced within 3 days, my cost was $75.
- - Repairs for the range were delayed from Apr 10 to July, with 3 failed visits.
- - AC replaced; customer disputes $9,800 and contract terms.
Their service has gone from the top of the line to a second-line repair shop in the hood. I placed an work order for my flat-top range April 10, 23 and was told they couldn't get to me until the middle of may, after 3 failed visits my range was still not fixed by JULY!
They finally repaired it before the end of July.
My AC went out again for 2 weeks in this temperature. So when we did get a company out to fix it, it was too old (1985) to be fixed. So they replaced it and now AHWS says they want pay for it because I was supposed to call them and tell them it couldn't be fixed this time. ( Had it repaired 2 years ago that cost me $300.
More than they paid because they only pay for the first 10 lbs. of the freon and I paid for a leak stop because couldn't find where the leak was and the rest of the freon needed for the unit. Now they are telling me that my contract means nothing and I will have to pay the whole cost of $9800.00 for the entire unit. So after all of these years of paying on time and telling people how great this company is, well not anymore.
I don't know who is at the top or who runs quality control??? But they need to be fired! Because no one is on the job. I have been calling for the past 3 weeks for someone to tell me why it was my job to tell them this unit could not be repaired.
They have not given me an answer and now my first payment is coming up next week.
So please go to consumer reports or google the best warranty companies before you spend your money on these fake companies. Another senior citizen being given the shaft.and I may have to sale my home because I don't know if I can pay this and food and all the increase home insurance cost.
User's recommendation: Be careful about the company that you enroll with for your home or care and google the complaints about these companies before you waste your money.

Verified Reviewer |No service after repeated calls
- - Furnace failed Dec 7; service began Dec 8 with many reschedules.
- - Vendor said they don’t service the unit; Jan 3 and Jan 5 AHS calls no result.
My gas wall furnace went out on Dec 7 2021. I placed a service call on Dec 8.
After 3 reschedules a vendor came over and said they did not service the unit. AHS sent another contract number and after 2 reschedules a vendor came in, looked at the unit and left. My calls to the vendor indicated they had informed AHS. My calls to AHS are detailed here.
1.
Called on Jan 3. Asked to press 1 for a call back. Waited 24 hours did not receive a call back.
2.
Called on Jan 5, waited 30 plus minutes for a representative, who took 8.9 minutes after I gave her details of my problem, to tell me she was past her work schedule but her left notes in the system. She would not be back to work till SATURDAY.do

- - A $100 copay for services was paid.
- - Contractors say nothing is wrong after less than 10 minutes.
- - Two other contractors say items need fixed or replaced.
Pay the copay of $100 for services. They send out contractors that will say nothing is wrong after spending less than 10 minutes in your house.
I've brought in 2 other contractors to review the situation, both independently agree the items need fixed or replaced.
This has happened for 3 service requests. This is a waste of your time and money.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified ReviewerCustomer service is awful!
- - Unable to reach a supervisor for a week; no response from the company.
- - They want to charge again for a service not provided and blame General Electric.
Trying to talk to a supervisor for about a week!
Company does not respond back. All they want to do is charge you again for a service already not provided. Try to put the blame on General Electric for service not provided.
