I looked at my bill today and also found the Agora voice Mail Service on it. I called Agora Solutions and had the charges removed.

:( I want the voiceMailService canceled & taken off my phone bill. I did not order this service.

After reviewing the online verizon bill i found a charge for $8.94 billed to me from agora. The charge was for a third party voicemail service that i never ordered. I called verizon and they said they would remove the charge and upgraded my fios package. Now third party billing is not an option, my internet speed is faster, and i will now be saving $8.00 a month on my bill. Thank you agora you filthy pieces of *** you tried to rob me but in the end you only saved me money. Go *** yourselves you worthless scammers.

Thanks for posting this. Mom is going through this same thing and couldn't find any phone numbers to reach these companies.

Just looked at my current AT&T phone bill and have charges from Agora. On phone with them now...

:( Same here got charged 8.23 + tax for a 1800 number what a bunch of bs.

The same thing happened to me ! You have to put a block on your AT&T account otherwise these companies can just add charges to your bill. This is stealing !!

I'm on the phone right now with Verizon - they are disputing the charges for me. I not only got hit with Agora, but OAN and Transactions Clearing too. There needs to be a law against this.

My Aug bill and now my Sept bill from Frontier,and I was told by the foreign accent lady, that my Oct bill will have the $8.72 charge. I finally got it cancelled today with a confirmation #. I was just put on Frontier from the Verizon sale.What a scam.

this will never stop. at&t gets a kickback from all money collected.

at&t told me they cant controll who puts charges on my bill. agora sais they put a block on my number but thats ***. i called them last month for the same reason and they told me the same thing. this time when i called they said there was no record i ever called before.

next month when i have to call back i am sure there will be no record of the call i placed this evening.

I just spoke with Pro Flowers who were great. They walked me through the two services they are in business with and assured me that they do not sell or supply information on their customers. I have a confirmation number from Billing Services for the canceled service so I did get through and I was able to cancel this fraudulent service.

I believe that this is part of the "free" coupons for shipping, etc that accompany Pro Flowers as this is the ONLY time I have ever given my information online for an indirect service. I have had the charges removed by both ATT and the billing service without being challenged.

The number given in these messages is correct to get the service canceled.

I will be contacting Pro Flowers with a complaint. Nothing in this country is ever really free.

ATT/Cingular Bill - Agora Solutions is NOT a part of ATT/CINGULAR. Was told to call and request the charge be removed - 1-80*-***-**** Transferred to (215-****). Says I requested the subscription thru a website when I signed up for service or a promotion - BULL!!!!

This is the company making unauthorized charges to our telephone services.

Yup, this bottom feeder called Agora Solutions has attached itself to Frontier Communications bills. Was about to pay my bill online when it seemed slightly higher than normal. Reviewing, I discovered the $8.43 charge.

Although the Frontier rep balked initially ["Do you seriously mean to tell me that if I get a bogus bill in the mail, as soon as I discover the fraud, I write a check to the company and then call them to demand a refund?!?"], she eventually agreed to dismiss the charge and put a block on all third-party billing.

I strongly suggest as a first step for others now doing a little research into this fraud, to call your provider and demand a block on all third-party billing!

I check my Verizon bill with a charge of $8.43 (nov 3) to a company called Agora Solutions. I called the number 1-80*-***-**** about the Agora voice messaging setup fee.

I told them i never requested this service. the person said it be cancelled. I then called Verizon billing, told them I was *** off about this bull *** charge. I told them to put a bill block on my accout so these scammers dont try this *** again.

I got really *** when the verizon billing person tried to pitch the FIFOS ***.... What a bull *** operation

I had this same thing happen on my AT&T bill. I called told them I never ordered it and wanted it taken off/cancelled.

I did get a confirmation cancellation number at the suggestion of AT&T as well as the name of the person I spoke with.

Someone needs to start a class action suit against this Agora company! How would we all go about getting this done?

They also added the fraudulent charge to my account for a service I never order from a company I never heard of. The first time I called they canceled the account I never authorized and credited my account.

I thought that was the end of. But the $8.23 showed up on my September bill. This time when I called they said they couldn't credit the account because it was canceled. They told me to pay it and then request a refund from Agora Solutions at P.O.

Box 50480, Minneapolis, MN 55405. Apparently they think people are *** enough to pay their scam charges and hope that in the distant future to get reimbursed.

I'm definately not happy that AT&T allows 3rd party vendors to add unauthorized charges to my bill and then takes no responsibility for it. They will soon be an ex-provider if they do not improve their business practices

I called Agora July 21, 08 and was put on hold for 15 minutes, and then they hung up on me. Then, I called QWEST , with no satisfaction.

I did not order any thing of this sort.

I have had the same problem and would like to report this to the BBB. Can anyone give me more information on Agora Solutions.

I have goggled them and can not get an address or phone number for them.
