Breeder selling sick kittens

AI Highlights
  • Contract guaranteed a healthy, purebred Persian kitten.
  • Kitten had eye infection and Ringworm; about $800 in vet bills; immunization not included.

In the Purchase Contract, I was guaranteed a healthy, purebred Persian kitten. After bringing my kitten home I noticed a heavy discharge from both eyes and took her to the vet, who diagnosed a severe eye infection and a severe case of Ringworm.

I spent close to $800.00 in vet bills in the first 3 months I owned her. She needed eye medication 3 times a day in both eyes, Ringworm ointment on her sores 3 times a day. Medicated baths 3 times a week.

I Had to take her to work with me to keep up with her care. Also, my kitten had not been immunized, which was supposed to be included in the purchase.
