Ag Warehouse appears to be a fraudulent company

On July 15, we received a call from Ag Warehouse to list our semi for sale. We were told that they did financing and had four people already approved for financing that wanted our truck. We had never heard of this company before, so were a little leery to pay $400 for an advertisement. Charles then promised us that the company would refund our money in full in 60 days if our truck didn't sell. So we paid the $400. We never even received one phone call during that 60 days from anyone interested in the truck. When we called and asked for our money back, they were always "in a meeting". We have since been calling nearly every day for over a month. Last week I started calling twice a day, every day. Most of the time nobody would answer the phones. (maybe they have caller ID?) We still don't have our money back. I will never, never give business to this company again and will definitely advise people to think twice before giving them any money.

Review in Dealers category from Dayton, Iowa

Ag Warehouse contacted us to list our Semi. Great sales pitch!!!! They made a lot of promises. $300 is what we paid was told that we would receive a receipt in about 20 minutes. It's been almost 3 months. Called at least a couple dozen times. Finally got a response back from a man named Bill who apologized about the delay in responding. I explained to him that after nearly of a week of avoided phone calls about the receipt we went with another company because we believed this company to be a fraud!! Bill responded with saying he refunding our $300. Now after at least another 5 phone calls where Bill has promised it would be refunded to our bank account he then had the excuse that his secretary is in s meeting or passing it off that she was suppose to take care of it. The last phone call I was promised that they were going to issue a check and would mail it to us in Iowa......well,,can you imagineNO CHECK.. I plan on contacting every one that I can to inform the public and professional businesses what a lack of professionalism and fraudulent - miss information . Very upset. If you want a good piece of advice . DONT TRUST THIS BUSINESS

High pressure sales tactics

Got a call from a guy who called himself Charles Rodgers claiming he had a buyer for my Freightliner. He told me that his company has sold over 18 Million dollars worth of equipment this year and guaranteed me that he had a buyer "right now" for my rig. Said he provided financing for people looking to buy. They contact him then he puts them in contact with the seller. Wanted my information and the Freightliner information so he could list. I asked him first that I wanted to know the name of his business and how much they charged for their services, and where he is located. He told me he was in Omaha Nebraska and he was with Ag Warehouse, and it would cost me $200 for 4 weeks of his services. I said " fine, Charles, I've got your number...give me a few minutes and I will check you out ...then I will give you a call back and let you know." I told him I was feeling pressured and that I don't do business like that. Glad I did. F rating with the BBB, Scam alerts all over the web. But here is the kicker...He demanded that if I was near a computer that we do the search together while I was on the phone so he could tell me what to look up, or he wasn't interested in my business! I said "Fine...Have a nice day" and he hung up on me. How could he have a buyer for my rig if he didn't even have the details of my rig? I would steer clear of this pushy and rude business.

Review from New Baltimore, Michigan

My husband got a call from charles rogers claiming he was from ag-warehouse and that he had buyers lined up to buy our head, he saw our ad on tractorhouse. He told my husband to stay by his phone all day because he would be getting calls all day about it and also said he would call him back in a few minutes to let him know the charge went through on our card, no call. We got suspicious and found reviews like our experience with this ***. I called him to call him out on it and he didnt answer so i left a message, he never called back so i called again, this time he answered and started yelling at me telling me it was a legit company and that "THEY" (whoever that was he was making up) said that if i called again i would be charged with harrassment and hung up on me, if this "company" was real he would have let me have a word in edgewise and explain myself instead of interupting me everytime i was trying to talk and then being *** and hanging up on me. So knowing he was a fraud i called back and it went right to voicemail. Needless to say hes a fraud, please be on your guard with this theif. He screwed us out of money. Im not saying ag-warehouse is a bad company but there are frauds making them look like a bad company.

Ag Warehouse sales scam. Do not pay this company anything!!!!

I got a random call from a Charles Rogers at Ag Warehouse and he said he was calling based upon an ad i had in Tractorhouse.com for a Kubota tractor that I was selling. Charles said he had been contacted by 2 prospective buyers about financing and transportation and that if I signed up he would have them contact me. I assumed that Ag Warehouse had a listing in Tractorhouse for financing and transportation services as is common practice. Well I never got any contacts and Ag Warehouse immediately billed my credit card for the $380. I have not been able to contact Charles either by phone or email. He took my money and ran. What a weasel!

Anyone using a credit card can contest the charges and the credit card company will refund the money to you until there is a decision made who is at fault after you submit documentation about the transaction. Call your credit card company they will explain how it works.

He called me half hour ago got me for 200. Did a internet search found this. Cancelled card immediately before transaction went through

I was contacted by them stating they had a preapproved buyer for my equipment that was listed in the truck paper. They wanted me to give them "a one time fee" of $280.00. They told me that they were handling the financing for the individual that was wanting to purchase the unit. They wanted me to send them the money right away and when I told him that I would only approve the payment of the $280.00 out of the wire transfer once the unit was paid for this gentleman proceeded to cuss me then hang up on me. THIS IS A SCAM! be careful with this group.

Ag Warehouse is the Ultimate Market Place

I was scammed by these people on my Semi truck said they had some buyers in my area to come look at my truck. No buyers and it has been 3 months not even a call. Also looked into it further they have had an F rating with the BBB for the same type of lies. I am making a complaint with the Attorney General in my State as well as theirs. It appears they changes websites to detract persons from seeing the bad reviews they have had. http://www.bbb.org/nebraska/business-reviews/auto-listing-service/the-ultimate-marketplace-in-boys-town-ne-30005**** Complaint In addition to the same business tactics in all the other complaints, UMP pirated my ad from another advertiser & then double-billed my credit card. See above. No need to repeat what everyone else is complaining about as it's the same for me. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Case is being handled by another organization: *** Desired Settlement It would be nice if someone could stop these activities legally. Business Response Mr. ******** card was not doubled billed. Mr. ****** placed his piece of equipment on our website to be listed/marketed on our network. The first time we ran his credit card and processed his order, the credit card was declined, which put a $* temporary charge on his credit card. Mr. ****** told us to run it again, and it went through on the second attempt. Mr. ****** called the next day on Tuesday the ***, and indicated there was an extra charge on his credit card. I told him it will come off, we only billed him once and the temporary charge will drop off; he agreed. He did not have any other concerns or complaints. It is interesting how he filed this complaint the same day I spoke with him about this. - See more at: http://www.bbb.org/nebraska/business-reviews/auto-listing-service/the-ultimate-marketplace-in-boys-town-ne-30005****/complaints#sthash.RyMugprN.dpuf
