After All Auto - Does Not Stand Behind Their Work.

In November 2014 I took my Honda to After All Auto Repair and had the driver's side axle replaced. It took them several days to do the repair, but I was fine with that because I wanted to make sure it was done right. After picking the car up I drove it for about a month, putting less than 2,000 miles on the new axle when it came out while I was in Lexington. I had to have my car towed and I learned that the axle was not put in right. I also learned that gear oil was put in my transmission which ruined it. To let you know, when an axle is replaced on a front wheel drive the transmission oil is drained and has to be replaced once the axle is replaced. After All Auto Repair put gear oil in my transmission instead of Transmission Oil which has ruined my transmission.

I called the shop and spoke with Todd, (Owner) and told him what happened and he refused to fix or pay for the repairs. I was very upset and don't won't this to happen to someone else. From now on I will use TRUSTED and HONEST auto repair company's that stand behind their work.

PLEASE DON'T BE A VICTIM:

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO AFTER ALL AUTO REPAIR IN THOMASVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA................................

After All Auto - Does not fix your car in a timely manner

After All Auto in Thomasville, NC does not treat their customers fairly. I gave them permission to repair my car the middle of June and gave them $1500.00.

I told them I wanted to take the car to a family reunion in Sept. On August 31st, I contacted Todd, the owner, to find out he status of the car and told him I would be down the next day to pick up the car. On Sept 1st, I went to pick up the car. I had taken a driver's mirror to replace one that was not broken when I left the car with them.

They put the car on the rack for about an hour. They were messing around the wheel area. Then they replaced the mirror. They took the car off the rack and let it sit for 2 hours before they fixed the headlight lens.

Since they had that part for a week and they were aware I was coming to pick it up, there was no excuse for it not being on the car. Todd, the owner, told me that my car had been on the bottom of his list. His "priority" was to repair cars for people who only had one car. My other vehicle did not have air conditioning in it and it was an extremely hot NC summer.

I endured numerous health issues as a result of the heat and lack of air conditioning in my car. I also had to do additional repairs just to keep one vehicle running. After waiting 4 hours before he completed the repairs on my car, it still had problems. The speed odometer would work intermittently, sometimes it would take several tries to get the car to start, and several times I heard a loud clucking noise in the front end.

I took it down on Monday, Sept 3rd to get the speed odometer to work. After I told the mechanic about the intermittent speed odometer was not working, he just said the instrument panel needed to be replaced and there was not any place open to order parts (it was Labor Day). He would not even look at the car and just "blew me off". Later that week, I contacted Todd and was told I would have to leave the car.

Apparently, leaving the car does not get it addressed in a timely manner (remember he told me that my repairs was a low priority on his list). I told him that was unacceptable and he hung up on me. Now, I am taking another vacation day to deal with the car. I was told by the mechanic he would look at it as soon as he could.

I have been sitting here for almost 3 hours and he has not even looked at the car. After I confronted him, he admitted to waiting until Todd comes in to "deal with me".

I am still waiting to get my car fixed properly.
