Affordable Home Furnishings in Beaumont, Texas:
Substandard furniture along with a deceitful staff. We were give a monthly payment plan for a set amount of money, yet every month when we went in to pay that amount, (the company says it doesn't accepts checks, only cash, debit or credit) it was always a few dollars higher.
Finally the last straw came when my husband went in to pay what we thought was finally the correct fee and was told by an employee that it would be $5.00 more because, "The state of Texas has raised its taxes." When the employee was questioned, he replied that he didn't know when that had happened and he could not give my husband any further information.
We were given a contact that said XXX amount of dollars per month; for the past three months, the amount is ALWAYS higher than what was written in the contract.
Finally we called and told them to come get your furniture. We will NEVER SET FOOT IN AFFORDABLE HOME FURNISHING STORE either here in Beaumont or anywhere else!
