Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.

on 12/3/21 spoke to sales dept, offered an affordable plan and assured could use my existing phone. Was sent 2 sim cards and neither worked. Suggested buy one of their phones but that was not included in initial agreement. Customer service and I agreed that because their equipment was not compatible with my device I would get full refund of $21.52. Called today about refund 1/18/22 and informed would only receive $11.00.Inquired why and told for shipping on items that would not work. Requested to speak to Supervisor, still waiting. Did report incident to AAA as they recommend company and I called based upon their recommendation. Sadly, very disappointed, another money grab to those of us on a fixed income.

Received phone call this morning from a supervisor, admitted easily that the $11.00 refund incorrect and told me $22,00 will be refunded. Question: why did it have to escalate to having to report them.

Lack of customer service/miscommunication

A couple of weeks ago, I requested a free new phone and plan from Affinity cellular. This was due to an ad I came across on West ways(a reputable AAA magazine). An agent with the company had informed me that the phone I requested has the massive amount of internal storage I was seeking. When the phone arrived, the storage in question was not to be as it contained far less than I was informed. I contacted and spoke to another agent(it appears most are outsourced)with limited English who informed me to return the product, so my card could be credited for the full amount charged upon receipt. The phone eventually made it back quickly to Affinity but when it came to my refund, that's where all *** broke loose. Several agents I spoke with subsequently couldn't get their facts straight. One said I was entitled to a full refund, another debunked that notion stating I was entitled to some refund. This obviously caused me to be upset so I then asked to speak to a supervisor. Mind you, my entire time with the agents was of a rude nature towards me. Not by voice raising but by being nonchalant, giving me the run around and keeping me on hold for lengthy periods. When I finally got to speak to someone I thought was the supervisor, service was the same. Rather than easing my frustration and offering full credit, this so-called wacko doubled down and not only defended the actions of team members I dealt with, but offered to refund a third of what I'd been charged. When I asked what the reasoning behind actions taken were, I was told it's the policy of Affinity cellular to charge for the service rendered even though I never utilized their service to begin with. Also, the device I requested was promptly returned. I repeated my dismay, but this agent didn't seem to care. The call was terminated soon afterwards.

User's recommendation: Affinity Cellular is a fraud. They lack customer service and it appears miscommunication is the norm within that company.

Their ad is in my AARP bulletin which leads me to incorrectly assume legitimacy: Buyer beware!?

Smart phone no use to me..I want to send it back/ How to do that?

the smart phone is not worth having ,,,to hard to use...instructions worthless. COULD NOT EVER READ..TOO BLURY...need one to one to show me how...I did ask person that sets up CC phones..she looked my smart phone..to say it is to hard toO use. keys too sm to use.for me..and so much wrong.. how do I sent it back to your company...also have cell phone..both batteries stil good. YOU had canceled my cell IN 2020 which was fine. for me to use... .U said I sent it back..well I still have that phone also.. .video ..never found..that would help..it said how to use camera and other things.. not what I wanted HOW TO USE THE DARN THING..PAID FOR SMART FOR 1 YR..STILL CAN'T USE IT..OTHERS EITHER..SAID ?TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND..THEY HAD PHONES ... couple trying on video to show how to use..showed camera as I said..but not how to use the darn thing....to call or message or voice.

cannot understand the accent from anyone there and asking for help w pone is impossible to get answer a n they automatically charged for new 4 g flip phones--resent that too poor or nil help--and to port a no , impossible

I spoke w/Kevin than sup. Didn't even try to help w/over charge they both must have repeated sorry 20time. I cancelled serves them you people should be ashamed of your self you lost a loyal long time customer! What happen to helping since this has never happen before the only help was I am sorry over ect what help us that I'll be reporting to Bob to help seniors and other by the way I would like to know how you can stop incoming call that you didn't reguest? I asked to be blocked no answer sorry again review call 10-13-20 see how much help I received

Need refund from new phone that I returned unused

I was having a problem with my flip phone and called for a new battery. I was told that I would have to buy another phone and I paid 53.49 and was charged this amount on my visa card. When the phone arrived I was not pleased with it and didn't activate it and returned it asking for a refund. That was on May 4. I still have not received my refund. I am still using my other phone and it is working well but I need the refund that was charged to me. Horrible customer service

I contacted Affinity Cellular to set up service for my 94 year old step-father. They set up the account under his name and auto payment from his bank account. My step-father can't use the phone, he can't hear anyone on it, so he asked me to cancel it. Since I set the account up, I was designated as a contact person. I just tried to cancel this account and get a return authorization number to send the phone back and they won't do this. My step-father is in the hospital and because of this Coronavirus quarantine, he can't have visitors and he can't hear me or anyone on the telephone. This company just wants to continue taking money out of his account. NEVER, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UNETHICAL AFFINITY CELLULAR

I have the new phone that I paid for, but I can't get it to work. Called, but they say I never called the apps, yahoo, taking pictures and other things don't seem to be working.

When you call--you get someone with a very heavy accent that you can't under stand causing frustration,Quality is not job 1 for this company! I truly need help setting up this phone.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS COMPANY IS CLOSING THEIR DOORS AT THE END OF THE YEAR! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

July called will send a new battery never received and no credit on the account issued. From early August to late September called about the battery, in late September a new phone was issued. On Saturday they were called to transfer information from one phone to the next, but they could not transfer the information from one phone to the next. Then they elected to state that they would trouble shoot on their end and call me back. Now it's Wednesday and I called them. They did nothing and I am the owner of two (2) non working phones. This company has to get it's act together and help it's customers or close it's business.
