We rented a car at Advantage in Honolulu. It took us almost 2 hours before we got our car. The customer service representative will pressure you to get their car insurance that cost more than $500 plus then if you decline she will try to scare you that Honolulu is raining hard and is flooded and there are a lots of landslides, saying if the car gets flooded you are liable. While I was was treated well at phenoix Sky harbor desk. It was when I went to sign the contract and a $530 qoute turned into $850 that I got upset. There were 31% fees and taxes added even though online said total cost! Car was nice but costly for a five day trip!

We rented a car for 3 days from LA. Estimated cost $ 191.96. We got the car back 10 mins late and in a hurry to shuttle. Checked the summary when back home in Australia. An extra day was added even though we were told it would be okay if it was 30 mins late. Final cost $283.82. I tried to ring them from Australia and they hung up on me. Crooks. Never had an issue with Alamo.

PSA: if you rent a car NEVER, EVER, EVER rent from Advantage Rent-A-Car. They have the worst service, car maintenance and employees I have ever encountered and I've encountered a lot. This is the second and last time they will nickel and dime as well as mistreat me with no accountability. The CEO shoyld be ashamed of this company. It's a joke and definitely not the cheapest or wisest option.

Made a reservation with Advantage in LA. Waited 30 minutes for the shuttle. That was the positive part of the experience. Tried calling the 800 number to talk to someone. What a joke. I rented a 2017 chev Malibu. Nice car but as I pulled out of the garage I noticed the gas gauge appeared to not quite be full.
