Finance Manager had wrong kelley blue book

Finance manager at Advantage Nissan in Bremerton WA brought me out wrong kelley blue book for my Truck. I don't know if he was trying to rip me off or not. They wrote down the mileage for my truck so I don't see why he wouldn't of entered in in the computer. He told me after I caught it that I should have had that many mileage for the year of the truck. A finance manager should not be making that kind of a mistake when he is dealing with your money. Keep a good eye when buying from these guys.

Nissan takes ADVANTAGE

On October 13, 2012 my husband and I entered Advantage Nissan in Westbury to shop around for an SUV. After test driving a Rogue SV, began negotiating the price with James, the sales person. Finally, James and us agreed on $24,000 for a 2012 Rogue SV minus a $7,000 trade for a total of $17,000 to be financed for 5 years. My husband and I using the calculator on our cell phone also came to more and less the same amount. After a long wait, we finally met with the finance person named John Rodriguez. I explained the deal we agreed on with the salesman. He listened, nodded and said : "Your payment will be 300. 61 for 60 months". When I got back home from the dealership I reviewed the forms. That's when I came across a form that seemed like the bill of sale, which I don't recall signing or seeing before. The price of the car was listed as 28,000+. I was charged for extended warranty and an interest rate of 5.9%. I was given a 59 month payment of 300.61 and one last balloon payment of 10,800. When we went back, John Rodriguez said, "you should have looked what you were signing". The car was sold to me under false pretenses. I decided to report this to the office of attorney general for investigation. I am pretty sure that I am not the only one who is ever been taken by a car salesman. However, I believe that this unethical behavior has to stop and that can only be stopped if we, the consumer, tell our side of story to the officials whose job is to protect the consumers. If you are reading this post and have a similar story please report it to the attorney general. The authorities will take action if they see a pattern.

Don't buy a car from Advantage Nissan in Westbury,LI

I recently purchased a Black Nissan Atlima from Advantage Nissan in Westbury Long Island. I had the worse experience buying my car. I went to the dealership expected to see the car I wanted I told the car sales man to look on the lot for my car. He then returns telling me he has the car I show up and there is no car. I liked another car so I bought that car. It took me over 3 weeks of calling the dealership for them to pay off my old car loan. Then I never received my registration and I now have to take time off to get my registration. I would never tell anyone to purchase a car from this company because its was a very bad experience. I purchase a car that cost so much money but the level of respect and care I received was null. Please don't buy a car from this dealership.

Sold me a $995.00 maint. program worth $230.00

Update by user Dec 27, 2011

After coming home I called Nissan consumer complaints and spoke to a fellow named Jeremy, I tole him what happened since Dec. 12, 2011 and he took down the information, Gave me a file number and said they were going to be in touch with me.

Today is Dec. 26,2011 and the company Advantage Nissan called me and understood I was dissatisfied with them and said they we willing to reimburse me $250.00,I said I was overcharged by $500.00, Bill asked me to come up to the dealedship and maybe he could do better.

After showing Bill my paperwork and trying to be a gentleman, he came back with and offer off a full refund of my payment plus I ended up with a free oil change. Thank You Nissan.

Advantage Nissan in Westbury, New York during the time spent with the finance person Mr. Michael J. Scheff I was sold a prepaid maintenance for my new 2011 maxima lease, It was stated the it was worth $1500.00 and since I use Advantage service he could give it to me for $995.00, would I be interested? I know for a fact there services are not cheap I said, that sounds good. My first service was on Dec. 12, 2011, I spoke to the service guy about the maintenance plan and he said, you don't have a maintenance package, You have 8 oil changes. I went right home and called the program company which was a toyota service, and Nick told me I have 8 oil chages over 39 mos. at $30.00 each. ($230.00) he said, we received $499.00 from you and thats all. I went back to the dealer and and told them they sold me a $230.00 oil change plan for $995.00 and I want my money back they said, All you can do is cancel the maintenance aggreement, I said they will only give me $432.00 refund because there is a $25.00 cancellation fee and you used one service. I said to Micheal J. Sheff what about the other $500.00, He said to me well I have to make money for the company I can't that. How do you like that this was my third maxima 2002 and my last.
