Charged for a "free estimate"

Advanced Thermal Solutions has charged us for an estimate. When I called, the owner wouldn't return my phone call. I called back to go in and visit with the owner, John Conway, and I was greeted rudely on the phone with "what's the problem?" (Not hello or good morning) He kept interrupting me when I tried to explain what our complaint was. Again, I explained that I would rather visit in person and that wasn't heard. There was no work or service performed and we were billed for the estimate when no other businesses billed us for their estimate. I was also threatened with small claims court and he hung up on me. Our complaint is not the amount of $$, but it's the ethics of this business and the way we were treated.
