Poor service

If you are considering giving your money to Roy Fowler run.I purchased a home from him and it was a night mare from the beginning.he has a very poor reputation with subcontractors and has a hard time getting people to work for him.he doesn!t pay them in a timely manner and I had contractors calling me for money that Fowler had and was sup posted to pay.the workmanship was terrible from his crew.I had to have an engineer come to inspect the home.issues were floor joists broken in basement and second floor,plumbing that exploded,furnace that had to be moved because of code violations,a porch that fell off the house and had to be rebuilt,hardwood floors that had to be removed and reinstalled because his crew had not used enough nails to hold it down.my septic tank is only 4 inches underground and I can not grow grass there.his. subcontractor called me several times so drunk that his speech was slurred.he consistently missed appointments we had set up to adress these problems and he stopped returning calls.then got a different phone number.this isn!t even mentiong the typical things like cracked sheet rock etc.I have seen people with signs walking in front of his office with fix my home messages on it.I have personally talked with 5 of his customers that feel they had poor service and many issues that were not fixed.they simply gave up trying because chaseing around Fowler became to frustrateing.I had to go thru legal channels to have billing issues adressed and my home fixed.

I am a real person with a real bad experience with advanced modular.a previous poster remarked that the company was solid.I don,t think that person has had any experience with Fowler.In fact I would not be surprised if it was Fowler responding.I hope this post helps someone to not go through all the headache I did.take your money and run as fast as you can

he made a FALSE complaint about Advanced Custom Modulars. His FALSE complaint is the ONLY complaint against this GOOD company! His complaint should be removed. His complaint is fraudulant, spiteful and Vindictive.

There is no FREE way, like how scottrudy36 made his fraudulant complaint, for Advanced Custom Modulars to repond. Pissed.com is wrong in allowing free, anonamous complaints to be filed without Free response. Pissed.com has been sued before for slander and Domain name infringement.

This time they will lose! I am a para legal and have found thier wink base!

Advanced Custom Modular Homes doesnt fix faulty workmanship

Bought a Colonial Home from this deal and it was delivered with wrong door, countertops, toilets and lighting. That was just the beginning.

The house began to have sheetrock issues, cracking mostly which is common in modulars, but the owner Roy Fowler refused to fix or sent incompitent help to fix. I have found out that this owner has moved offices from cities and changed the name of his company to avoid bad publicity.

He is very unprofessional and disrespectful and in a business where there are other options I would find another option. I would recommend using another dealer if you are looking to purchase a modular home.
