Worst company Ever!!!

Been without Air Conditioning for 2mo in this brutal heatwave in Florida. My unit is under warranty, and I was told by Lennox I can only use this company for repairs and parts. They dont have the part and told me they cant get it. But this is the only company Lennox warranty will let me use, to not void out my warranty.. they dont care, that Im without air conditioning

Lennox is the company that should get one star for this issue. Not the A/C company.

Burning up Due to AC Failure

We are retired seniors living without air conditioning due to a parts shortage indefinitely. Many customers are in the same situation, some since January Im told by Advanced Air Home Services the company who installed and maintains our home air conditioning unit.

When our AC went out, we called Advanced Air Home Services who sent a technician on Easter weekend which was good. Turns out the unit is under warrantee and needs parts. The parts come from the manufacturer who does not have them in stock and does not know when they will be available. We suggested since its under warrantee they are obligated to replace the unit.

Advanced advised us they cannot replace a unit until the part fails several times, but they cant get the part its a Catch 22 situation. Even though Advanced Air Home Services installed the unit they say theres nothing they can do, as they have to get their warrantee parts from the manufacturer.

So here we sit in sweltering heat with many other customers, 80+ degree temperatures and climbing, indefinitely, until Advanced Air Home Services to get the parts required to repair our air conditioner. Can you help, we are suffering seniors on a pension!

Ripped Off

This was the second time for this problem because the first time the tech didn't have the part on the truck. This time the tech came i told hime what it was before he got there its was a 26 dollar part he was there a half hour then he comes to me and said that will be 481 dollars with no bill and how he itemize it at all and would not take a check wanted a credit card. A few days later i called the company to talk to the manager and he has never called me back the lady said on the phone they don't set the prices so who does ? No bill no receipt either

So far Advanced Air has not contacted me to resolve this problem. I thought they were a reputable company and would stand by their product and service.

I was completely wrong.

I have known other people & neighbors who also are not happy with Advanced Air. This company is a complete disappointment.

Advanced Air has not tried to resolve this problem. They have admitted that other customers have had the same problem. However, they have not tried to come to an agreement with me.

New Daikin AC installed almost 6 yrs ago. Have had many, many repair calls. Oct 2019 their repair person stated the unit CANNOT be repaired. After meeting with the General Manager I was told they would take care of the problem. It is now July 1, 2020 and they have done NOTHING!!! The heat of the summer is here. My thermostat is set on 73 and the house NEVER gets cooler than 78. Upstairs is even HOTTER! I have hurricane proof tinted windows and my electric bill has gone up since the AC was put in. They are the 'EXPERTS', they should have known that the unit they installed 2 1/2 ton was not large enough for almost 1800 sq ft with 22 ft ceiling. I have neighbors and friends who have problems with their Daikin. I cannot get any help from Advanced Air! BEWARE!

Preferred solution: Completely replace with a 3 ton 15 seer unit (NOT DAIKIN) at no expense to me OR my money back.

Advanced Air has not contacted me in any way to resolve this problem. I am completely discussed with the entire situation.

Where does the consumer get help? In Court?
