Poor Customer service and Improper website

I have signed up for adorama with an email address and placed an order. But when I login back to check the status of the order, it says invalid credentials. I have spoke to customer service and they have zero knowledge to get the user id. I have the address that I have put in, the first and last name, billing address, and everything they cant trace anything. Also; the website is so badly designed that you can create any user account with any email

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. They sent me what I ordered.

On November 27 I ordered two used tripods and one tether support. On December first, I received a Canon battery (?).

I asked for a return label but on December the second, I received one tripod, the tether support, and a keyboard stand.
Attached are the back-and-forth emails showing the incapacity or unwillingness of Adorama to understand what items they have sent me.
Yesterday (12/08), I got an email from Mr. David Gelb, from the Adorama use department, asking me to call then. I did return the call, but nobody answered.

I left a message.
Now, I'm on back-and-forth emails with Mr. Gled, because I can't be home during the day,
I will call again today.

I returned a defective as card it was received on 4/5/23 in their warehouse and it is no 5/1/23 and I still don’t have the replacement as card.

I ordered a 522 go sd card. It would only format to 476 go. I returned it and it was received by Adorama warehouse on April 5th it is no may 1st and I still have not received a replacement so card. Adorama customer service is located in the Philippines. It is difficult at best to understand the customer service agents. I have called customer service a number of times. I still have not received my sad card.

I bought the Asus ZenBook duo from adorama a few months ago. The laptop crashed several times in the first few months so I tried to exchange it for a different device. Different brand, different model. I had no option to return or exchange the laptop on adorama's website so I called and specifically asked for an exchange to be processed. We had back and forth where I was told I was past the laptop's returnable date even though their website clearly states that purchases can be returned by February. I was told I couldn't return the laptop because the manufacturer disconnected it. They acted as if I couldn't exchange it for a different device. I practically had to state several times that I wanted a different device before they finally said they could process it. I had to literally instruct them to add a note on what laptop I specifically wanted. I was sent a shipping label and returned the laptop. I didn't get tracking info do I called adorama and they told me the saw the laptop was on the way and my refund would be processed once they got it. This is the 3rd call I've had with adorama about this exchange and they're still ignoring the notes on the order and trying to refund me. I had to once again refer the technican to the notes on the account. She confirmed the laptop I wanted and assured me my exchange would be processed. This was Monday. The laptop arrived to them Tuesday. Thursday I get an alert saying my refund has been processed........ AFTER 4 PHONE CALLS WITH DIRECT INSTRUCTIONS, THEY STILL DID THE EXACT OPPOSITE THING I WANTED. I NEEDED THIS LAPTOP TO START A NEW JOB AND THEY'VE MESSED THAT UP. Then they best they can do is offer $50! For the inconvenience on my next purchase AFTER I REPURCHASE THE LAPTOP I WANTED EXCHANGED. I can't even use their measly credit on this next purchase. The incompetence is mind blowing and i do not recommend adorama

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. It has only been a few weeks but so far their repairs are working, so I am back snapping away.

I will update as more time goes by. It took a while to convince them to do the right thing but they eventually did..

Bought a used camera in like new condition 5 months ago and it just died. I spent $800 and got completely ripped off.

They seem to really know how to make it last just past the used warranty. I begged them for help since warranty or not spending this much money on 5 months of use is for poor and they refused to do anything. If I had a company and this happened I would be ashamed to let this go. This is wrong and a total rip off.

I was hesitant to buy used but I read a lot of reviews saying they were a great company and their used gear could be trusted. I am guessing they were fake reviews since it is absolutely not true.
I just heard back from them again and they refuse to do anything.

they are obviously just looking to rip you off. No matter what the warranty says, a camera breaking after 5 months and $800 is a giant ripoff!

Misleading trade-in sales

I was told by Adorama personnel that it "pays more than its competitors" for used camera equipment. I wanted to trade in a Sigma lens -- which I had purchased from Adorama just 5+ months earlier for $600+ -- and upgrade to a better one. I shipped the lens to Adorama for "evaluation" and they offered me $225. I have since had it evaluated by (and selling it to) their competitor (MPB), who are paying me $380!

Terrible Customer Service

I placed an order for some video equipment. The order is processed and my account is debited with no issues.

A few hours later I received an email that my order was cancelled due to verification failure.

After 7 emails and 1 voicemail that were not returned, I finally got the ability to wait on hold for the "verification" department. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes, the CSR was extremely rude and could not provide any reason for the issue.style="

I called back to sales and was quickly routed to the customer service department.

After a lengthy hold, I was told they could not tell me anything.

Both CSRs stated my order had been rejected though the the website said my order was in the shipping process. Even after the 2nd CSR emailed saying he cancelled the order, the website does not reflect the cancellation.

(Update) They contacted me but insisted on the same thing, pre-registered warranty. Stay away from them!

I purchased the brand New printer at Adorama.com. At the end of last December, I had some networking issues with the printer so I contacted Ricoh customer support.

However, they couldnt troubleshoot the issue because they said the printer was already registered by someone in New Jersey. I wondered how the warranty for the new printer was registered by someone else even though it's a brand new one. So I contacted Adorama and explained what had happened. They said they will investigate the case.
On the following day, they emailed me that they just updated the warranty information instead of giving me the investigation result about why the new printer was already registered by someone in NJ.

I didn't ask for a warranty update or give permission to release my information for warranty updates. I called them and they said that some models come with some warranty time preloaded, which I have never heard of.
I called Ricoh customer service and asked if its the case. They said they had never heard of such things and the warranty should be registered by a buyer/end-user. They added that it is illegal for vendors to update warranty information using customers' personal information without permission.

They said the printer would have been returned/refurbished and sold it as a new one. Also, they said Ricoh never registers any products in the warranty before selling them.
Adorama still insists its a new printer.

Even though its obvious that they sold the used printer as a new one, they said I cant return the printer and refused to issue because the 30-day return period had already passed. And now I am stuck with the printer that does not work at all.

Don't know what went wrong. I purchased a new Sennheiser Digital Wireless Lavalier Mic Set for $699. What I received in the mail was either used or refurbished but it definitely wasn't new. How did I know? 1. The serial number on the outside of the box did not match either serial number on the transmitter or receiver. 2. The front of the receiver was scratched. 3. No instructions were in the box. 4. The box was sealed with tape from ShurTech Brand LLC (Adorama didn't even take the time to remove ShurTech's label from the tape. Sending it back for a refund. They have forever lost my business
