AI Highlights
  • - ACT! v22 Outlook integration regressed and is less intuitive.
  • - Costs rose from ~£150 per version to £33/month.

Having been with ACT! since ver.

3 I've seen versions improve over many years, but in terms of ACT! v22 (the latest) the integration with Outlook has gone seriously backward. Way backwards! Everything from attaching Outlook emails to calendar events either doesn't work or is just no longer intuitive.

It's as though someone has taken an old woollen jumper and unravelled it and then tried to remake the jumper, but forgot to note the vitals before they started and ended up with a jumper with a lot of holes.

and for the privilege of using a program that I've used for well over 20 years, my costs have gone from circa £150/version to £33/month. Circa 3 - 4 x more than my subscription to Office 365.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

User's recommendation: Demand better attention to functionality and attention to detail from a well tried and tested piece of CRM Software
