Porch not complete.

Do Not overlook this review. I had the ACRI Company install a small porch in May of 2022.

I thought it looked great at first but then I noticed it wasn't finished,(it has a raw edge on the front side). I called and they said it was finished. I asked to speak to someone else but was just referred back to the original person. He was very rude and insisted that it was finished.

I asked why he was being rude and he said " This is America and I can do what I want ". That remark is so unprofessional and unworthy of a customer service position.

Here it is almost November 2022 and my porch is still not finished. I will not call on them for another project and if you're wise you won't either.

My husband and I have had the Acri Company out on four different occasions. First for my new roof, 2nd time new windows, third time to complete our window purchase and finally a new storm door.

In every instance, I found the products excellent of the highest quality, and the crew was courteous and professional. Could not be happier with our experience all around.

Shame on the Acri's.

we having the same problem with this company. Will not stand behind warranty were to send someone today to fix shingles and Nic Acri just phoned they will not be able to make it today.

So here we go it has been over four weeks, and it is very rainy where we are. My suggestions is we all get together and find an attorney and file a class action suit against Acri Company. Or better yet call Channel 8 on your side. It is a Quad city tv station that tries to help consumers get things made right.

Based in Acri's hometown. How would that look. They should not be in business. They only way they have stayed in Business is ripping off the customer and not refunding what they should .

They should be ashamed of themselves.

Call an attorney and file a small claims suit against them We are, and contact Channel 8 News wqad.com. The more people we can get this information out to the better.

DO NOT GIVE THESE LYING CROOKS A PENNY OF YOUR MONEY!!!

This past fall my parents chose to use this company to re-side and replace the windows on their nearly 100 year old home south of Riverside Iowa. BIGGEST REGRET THEY HAVE EVER HAD!!! They attempted to give them a change to make it right before posting a negative review, but ACRI Company did nothing to make it correct.

Tim Acri one of the owners and Joe (the sales man) came out to the home the last night of our ordeal with these people to request final payment and pick up the doors which are mentioned below that were not ordered correctly by ACRI and had to be replaced by us. Tim was extremely rude the entire time while he was there.

When Joe (the sales man) mentioned that we didn't get the correct columns for the porch which he ordered, my mother asked what they were going to do about it, Tim's smart aleck remark to her was throwing his hands in the air and saying "What the *** do you want me to do about it?" she said I know what I want to tell you & that is shove the it up your *** buddy!!! Also my father brought up the doors that were installed which he had to replace himself, he asked if they normally use shingles/shims to set them. Tim replied yes. My father knowing they had not used them as he had to replace the doors said "Well they sure didn't use them on these doors." This lead to yet another smart aleck remark from Tim: "Well I guess it is a good thing you took them out yourself then, huh?." This was only one of many similar days of dealing with these people.

I can not believe this company can stay in business if this is how they always conduct themselves and their business.

Below is a list of some of the things which were wrong with the work they preformed and the items they attempted to pass off as quality.

1.) Entry doors were not acceptable as the jamb widths were not ordered to match the wall widths (this is a 100 year old home with actual 2"x4" studs which they knew and supposedly had measured for) and the color of the jamb on the inside did not match the wood grain on the inside of the doors. Instead it was white which was not what was ordered - My parents ended up receiving some money back for doors, however we then had to remove and replace them and the trim ourselves.

2.) The porch columns/posts which were quoted were to be aluminum columns capable of holding up the porch roof by themselves. However what was installed was cheap wooden posts wrapped with a snap together aluminum cover. They did not inform us of this in hopes of making a few extra bucks until we discovered this on our own. After much fighting with these clowns over this they did give a $1,000

deduction, yet we still did not get what was ordered/quoted/promissed and thus will have to order our own and install them ourselves.

3.) The kitchen window which they replaced was to be replaced with a new constructions window with the jamb width to match the wall width not a replacement pocket window. This also was not the case, and when the window they used was smaller in size than what was taken out, they half way attempted to fill it in, however chose not to use drywall to fix above the window. Instead they filled it in with OSB board and did not insulate at all.

4.) The rotten window sills which were to be replaced were not replaced, instead they just wrapped them to cover them up thinking we would not check.

5.) Exterior light fixtures are wobbly, they had just screwed into the plastic cover not the box in the wall as they should have been.

6.) Freeze board which was ordered and we were charged for would not work correctly so was not used. We purchased and furnished 2" x 12" boards which were used instead. The price of the original freeze board should have been deducted from the bill as it should not have been advised to be use. However they took the boards which we paid for and

refused to deduct anything from the bill for a product we did not receive/use in the end.

7.) There are multiple large dents in the aluminum wrap of the porch header.

8.) The porch railing which was provided is not of good quality for what was paid, just like the posts/collumns on the porch I am sure that we did not get what we actually paid for. We could have gone to Menards or else where and purchased the same stuff for a very small fraction of the cost.

9.) We were also quoted and promised railing for both sets of outdoor stairs. Nothing was installed on either one. We had to purchased these on our own and install ourselves.

10.) Nearly every window frame was chipped and scratched on the inside of the home from drilling when the windows were installed.

Pictures of some of their "WONDERFUL" work have been attached. More available if anyone doubts this as accurate.

I messed up and filled out one of their free siding drawings. Thought they were actually a construction Company.

Had a pushy salesman show up and while I was recovering from a health issue I agreed to get siding and windows. Discovered they had a local contractor do my siding and windows. Stay local and save money.

Acri just jacks the price to line their own pockets. THEY ALSO PUSH FOR THEIR MONEY.

Acri Company - Satisfied Customer

I have used the Acri Company for several projects: siding, walk-in shower, and the latest project, a new roof. I have been completely satisfied with all three projects and contacted them for a new roof because of that satisfaction.

My communications were good whether in person with Nick Acri or by phone with Tim Acri. Nick was very knowledgeable and explained the process and materials that would be used, along with providing me with options.

The workers were very efficient and skilled. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after the work was completed.

I am very happy with my new roof, as well as all of the other projects by the Acri Company and would definitely recommend them.

Acri Company Kitchen Remodeling Review from Chicago, Illinois

Troy Brown was the rep who came to our home twice and took measurements on a kitchen remodel. The 2nd visit Troy said he would have the drawings in a day or so that was 1 month and a half ago.

I called him Feburary 15th and asked if he had forgot about us. Troy's response was "no I have not forgot about you and can I call you right back." We have yet to hear from Troy and frankly Im disappointed. If the kitchen was great we had 2 other projects - the upstairs bathroom and the basement with another bathroom to remodel. Troy did tell me he was working on 2 large projects.

I guess we were not paying enough for your company to work with us. However, word of mouth is your best advertising and you will not get a good reference from us!!!

They disregard the Do Not Call Registry

This company has been calling us for 2 years despite our being on the Do Not Call Registry and an Illinois Attorney General complaint we made against them. Will submit 2nd complaint to state.

Have asked company numerous times not to call us and we threatened to make a state complaint and they still keep bothering us. Do not buy from them! They cannot be a reputable company to keep doing this.

We have never done business with them nor solicited their business or products. They are in violation of state and federal laws and apparently don't care anything at all

That doesn't work, either. I NEVER answer the phone because I'm deaf. They never leave a message, either, so I have no idea why they are calling!
