Poor Driveway Paving by Achen Asphalt
Achen Asphalt of Watertown paved our driveway last year. The job was fair but during the winter the driveway heaved up. They had to repair it but the repair job was poor because they had very little pitch from the garage doors and the cut and connect area is somewhat uneven. When I voice my concerns the own showed little concern and when I said if I knew what I know now I might not have selected him - he said he would not have done the job. He does not seem to care about quality or customer service. There are full of excuses.

Achen Asphalt installed a new walkway for me this Spring. The job came out unbelievably well and I could not be more happy with the work done.
The owner was always prompt and he had great employees to compliment.
He worked weekends, holidays - whatever was needed to get the job done. I can't wait to hire them again in the future.
This guy did multiple jobs for me including asphalt and masonry. I can honestly say they are one of the best companies i have ever worked with.
Everything was completed efficiently and on time at the price we agreed on. The owner was on the job at all times and has followed up with us a couple times.
Always hate to see a bad comment posted cowardly online. Especially when it pertains to honest hard working people.
Your right tony they do terrible work they paved my driveway and it almost looked worse than when they started

I AGREE TONY THEY NEVER SHOWED UP AT OUR JOB AND HE TOOK $4,500 DEPOSIT. WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE AND NEVER CAME BACK!!!
I've used this company multiple times and they did excellent work and were very easy to work with. Matter of fact the owner swings by every now and then just to see how everything is going.
We look forward to our next project - adding a patio to compliment the driveway and walkway they did for us.
BTW: If you want a complaint to be taken seriously you should at least use spell check and proofread. :grin
