Bad customer service - rude team
DO NOT RECOMMEND any "Acer Recertified" or refurbished products from this company. The support line is extremely unprofessional, including the manager that I spoke to.
Unfortunately the monitor I purchased has had issues outside of the warranty, which I completely understand.
What I don't find acceptable is that the email support team wasted a bunch of my time telling me that they would be able to help me, they sent me packing instructions for the monitor and everything. I went through the process as they asked me to, only at the last final moment they told me that they can't help me due to it being out of warranty.
I told the support person via email that I was upset that they had wasted my time, and I wanted to escalate this. It's fine if you can't help me, but don't send me on a wild goose chase when you can't even help.
The support person just copy-pasted what they said before, which is that they can't help because of the warranty.. I called the phone support line to complain and the manager was just telling me that it's out of warranty, he was acting like it's ridiculous that I am not aware of their warranty before opening my initial ticket..
What a terrible company lol.
Just apologize and tell me that it's not going to happen to future customers due to improving things from my complaint. It's not that hard guys.

Won't honor warranty
I received my monitor on July 24th 2018. Everything was fine until about the end of August...the picture went out.
I unplugged the display port cable and plugged it back in. The picture came back. However on Oct. 12th the picture went out again and wouldn't come back until I used a HDMI instead.
The Display port on monitor quit working again. I first sent an email on Oct. 12th and then called and spoke to a rep on Oct. 15th.
I was concerned because the warranty expired on the 24th. Never heard from them until the 30th and they said they warranty was expired and I should take it somewhere to check on repairs. Horrible customer service and fradulent at best.
Buyer beware. I bought this monitor through Rakuten and they seem to be trying to help but it's going nowhere.
Preferred solution: Replacement
Beware! Beware!
I purchased a re-certified all-in-one desktop from Acer's online re-certified store. It arrived with a shattered monitor.
The desktop, keyboard, mouse, and cables were packed in a box with only a cardboard insert; everything was loose and bouncing around.
I immediately contacted their recertified support staff and was told by a CSR that I needed to take photos of the monitor and also the exterior of the box. Typically, that wouldn't be unreasonable. However, I informed her that there are loose pieces of glass scattered in the box, some of which spilled out and became embedded in my carpet. I stated that I risks sustaining lacerations if I attempted to handle the monitor.
The CSR insisted that I needed to take a picture of the monitor in order to receive a refund. Subsequently, I asked them to send me an email stating that in spite of my safety concerns, a photo of the monitor is still required. They relented and only required photos of the top and front of the box.
It's interesting that another reviewer also complained of a broken monitor, so my poorly packed desktop was not an isolated incident. Also, I agree with other reviewers that it's difficult to reach or to get a reply from their CSR department.
Acer should be ashamed of their re-certified business. The consumer affairs website is bombarded with complaints about Acer.
i sent my acer 312 for repair, never returned
sent my acer t312 chrome book for warrantee repair, this was my 2 time as the prior time it was returned not fixed, i spoke to someone there on 5/2 and was told that the computer had been returned and signed for on 4/27, i never received the unit and never signed for it, my apt is off the lobby and no building employees received nor signed for it, i request an investigation and as this is a large building, nothing has ever been stolen, cameras, bldg employees, HELP, i want my computer returned, thank you !
Lost my computer several times
I had to send a laptop in for repair. They sent it to a totally different state, 1000 miles away they said the laptop would now be sent by "a customer" after a week and no update to tracking i requested a new laptop be sent.
a week after that i called to confirm tracking for the new laptop, they didn't send it cause they were waiting for it to be in stock in black (my original one was blue). still waiting after more than a month now to get a laptop. Worst company i've ever dealt with. I emailed and simply asked for updated tracking; no response.
i called and politely ask for updated tracking; it was either the wrong tracking everytime or it wasn't available yet. I'll never buy an Acer again - recertified or not.

I purchased an ACER laptop from Amazon, after a month Hard drive failed.I was told I have to send it to recertification center so they fix it. I mailed it to: Teleplant, 5201 George Mcvay drive, suit G, Mcallen in Texas 78503.
I talked with someone named JANET, they received my PC and they replaced the harddrive and broke the screen, and mailed it back to me with a broken screen. Again I was in contact with Janet, she only replied one email a day. so this process took two week. Finally they decided to send me another laptop.
I received the new laptop and noticed that when it is not charging it shuts down by itself. So again I sent emails to Janet and she was replying to emails only one time a day, so I had to wait for her one whole day to get a reply. (I also try their number 1-84*-433-****) they never answer the phone. Finally someone else by the name of Chris emailed me and told me to send it back for repair again.
The pc was sent back to service center and after one week back to me again. On the repair papers it says they replaced the Hard drive again. I emailed them to let them know that they have not repaired my PC, it had a power issue not hard drive issue. I am still in process of getting my PC fix.
Can someone help?
Can someone provide me contact number of a manager at the service center, or a direct line so I can talk to someone that can fix my PC? I totally regret buying Acer but it is too late and I am not someone extremely rich that I can just say ok *** with 300 dollars.
- Never answer their phone 1-844-433-8476
- Replay to customer emails once a day only
Preferred solution: Full refund

Should've tried harder, or contacted higher up ebay or acer.com
You know so much. Acer Recertified has nothing to do with Acer.
There IS no higher up. They're a 3rd party company that only uses the NAME Acer.
And if you're looking for a recertified HP laptop, you'd find the same company called "HP Recertified." Instead of being so patronizing, choose to be kinder and actually helpful. If you can't do that, be kind and helpful by saying nothing at all.
