Violation of Privacy, Poor Service, and No Accountability – Extremely Disappointing

I stayed at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs and had an experience that was not only deeply disappointing but also disturbing.

At some point between 69 PM, hotel staff entered my room without permission to drop off cookies, despite a clearly displayed "Do Not Disturb" sign. My jewelry and personal belongings were out, and I felt completely violated.

This was an unacceptable breach of privacy.

To make matters worse, the air conditioning did not work, and I had to request a maintenance person to enter my room around midnight just to get it functioning which took a long time to kick in, adding to my discomfort and anxiety.

When I spoke to the night manager, Victoria, about these issues, she was rude, dismissive, talked over me, and made me feel like I was overreacting. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, she gaslighted me and showed no professionalism or empathy.

At checkout, I attempted to follow up with management, but my email was ignored, and the manager simply gave me a small discount on the hospitality fee, with no meaningful apology or accountability.

It was clear they just wanted me to go away.

I am now in the process of filing a police report for trespassing and exploring legal options. No guest should ever be made to feel this unsafe, disrespected, and unheard in a place that markets itself as a boutique hotel experience.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who values privacy, safety, or professionalism.

How did you have a loss? You don't mention anything about any missing items from your room.

You also don't mention anything about asking for another room, due to a problem with your ac, which you admit maintenance fixed. You were given a discount, so what else are you seeking??

I am incredulous at your stating you are filing a police report for "trespassing". That should give the hotel and the police something to chuckle about, as the police cannot trespass the hotel "from the hotel".
