Acclaimed preys on the elderly
- - Arrived in an unmarked van with a Plumbing & Bath Plus shirt.
- - A $250 faucet replacement grew to $3,100+ and remains unfinished.
My mother called Acclaimed services and A**m showed up. He was wearing a Plumbing and Bath Plus shirt, unmarked van, and completely took advantage of my 75 year-old mother. What should have been a $250 faucet valve replacement turned into a $3,100+ unfinished faucet replacement. High pressure, over priced, preying on elderly customers. Call anyone else and you will likely be better off. Look for an update soon. I'm creating a site to detail the story of what this terrible company did.
Acclaimed has such a bad reputation that they are showing up as Plumbing & Bath Plus. These guys need to be out of business and in jail!
I called several times asking for a manager to call me back and of course they never did. I will not stop until everyone knows how terrible this company is so others don't fall prey to their unscrupulous business practices.

They earned my trust, the price was fair and they arrived on time and cleaned up after the mess! Have not had a company provide great service like this before. The staff had a uniform on, wore booties and was very polite!

Acclaimed Services Fairfax VA are crooks

Acclaimed Services, especially Adam Martin, are unethical crooks. Use them at your own risk. You are better off throwing your money down the toilet, as at least you know they aren't getting it.
They double charged my credit card for work they didn't do. Check out some local VA sites, it has happened numerous times. My mistake, not checking first.
Now, I am trying to save you the trouble. Do not use them. They did work at my place on Oct 3 2011 and first, got the problem wrong, charged my card for work they didn't do, acknowledged it, but refused to reverse the charges.
We do not whose the customer. It could be spam.

hard to believe this comment is legitimate since there is no name, date, etc associated with it. I guess it's possible that ONE consumer out of sooooooo many other (awful) reviews could have actually had a good experience, but not probable. Sounds like this one is from the awful plumber, the owner or a relative...
these people are crooks and need to be held accountable for their shoddy work and outrageous business practices and prices, especially their predatory behavior toward the elderly.
