Sounds like you didn't bother to read and/or understand what you signed up for. This is an easy win for you. Pull your contract...IF you didn't agree to this you're good.

IF not, thanks for the cautionary tale that warns people to understand what they're signing and be ready to execute a contract or be hit with major fat interest. Thanks for posting.

Acceptance Now review: Horrible Customer Service - Rockville MD Location

I have never been more insulted and disrespected as I was this morning speaking to the Acceptance Now "Manager" at Bob's Furniture in Rockville MD. Completely inappropriate and disrespectful when I requested an extension on my payment fo 9 days. I will NEVER use this company/service again and will spread the word accordingly. The Manager became personally disrespectful and wanted to discuss financial things in my life that were not his business. Completely Flabbergasted by this type of customer service..... Disgusted!

You didn't state in your message where you opened your account? The program is very straight forward you are given options to pay off your account the longer you take to pay off the more interest you will pay.

Did you read your contract that you signed?

I HATE to see comments like this because it is a very honest opportunity people just don't pay attention to what they are signing or just don't care it really isn't a ripoff it's a business that is giving people an opportunity to purchase something that they readily couldn't afford or had no credit. Don't ruin it for someone that could and would benefit by bashing something you know was explained

Same i wanted to return mine bc its already falling apart and i just bought it!!! Never use it and they came to get it but wouldn't take it back!!

Im so furious & refuse to make a payment. I have the warranty as well , its not like they couldnt fix it theyre just lazy *** who still wanna get paid for their dumb ***

Same this is happening to me right now. This is a lessoned learned that I know better to repeat.

I've paid atleast $2,400 and the furniture was only worth $1,700. I've been helping family and toilet has been running which complex stated would not be an issue. Anyway in the past 4 bills electricity was over $1,000 total which is now resolved. That pushed my finances way past my means.

Anyway, this has caused me to be late and I mist take care of my newborns first.

Now, today I called and was given so many different stories it was ridiculous. There is something called a *waiver fee that supposedly was on the contract that runs consumer at least 12.50 or so. The rep from AN-Ashley says oh if you want that removed we can take that off.

I asked please take it off period, I have renter's insurance and can not afford all of the excessive fees. She goes ok.

Then, rang me up with it on there and before I answered the 3 digit code for the card, I asked, "did you take off the waiver fee?" She goes Ohhhhhh...

Needless to say, please save your money and stay away from financing furniture. Terrible mistake and great lesson.
