Assistant director, executive director threatening clients

I was told that if we did not do the amt of groups that they say we should do then they will hold our methadone. I did 3 groups march. On 4/3/ 2023 I called and asked them to arrange courtesy dosing for my wife and myself in sparks neveda. I was told that unless we did the group we missed in march we would not be in compliance and not allowed to courtesy dose and they would not submit paperwork. My wife and I work full time go to college with 12 credit semester and we volunteer places like food pantries, reading to sick mostly terminal kids and we give homeless people free rides 4 days a week to access services and often do the work for them. We volunteer and senior homes playing checkers and other games like bridge. We have full schedule that's how we stay clean. We also collect donations all year so that on Christmas we can offer nice gift bags to the less fortunate people in our community. This year we donated 40 bags to Acadia/CTC.each bage had about 30 to 40; items. Like space blankets good bars of soap snow hats gloves socks razors tampons condoms flashlights and many other things homeless people request. Sure made Acadia/ Ctc in Vancouver WA Look good. Acadia/ Ctc in Vancouver did nothing for the community. A couple of worthless did though. Sorry but that's how Ctc Vancouver makes us feel. We are struggling to stay get clean at your clinic and my wife there with a year clean and has relapsed. No other clinics or Mat around here make those classes mandatory. There offered to those who want them. They don't work for everyone. We are individuals. I understand though if we miss a group Acadia misses the money. Also in WA state they opted in for the new take home covid policy that will be extented for 1 year in may and then become permanent after that. SAMSHA SAID That in the 2 years with clinics using the covid carry poilcy it has brought more people the ever to treatment. Has help more clients get sober and maintain soberity then ever and has increased the quality of care a client satisfaction. That should be Acadia's/Ctc and every MAT programs mission statement. This in a nutshell should be what these programs strive for. But we're told here in Washington that just because Washington opted in for this and just because every other Matt program in the state does it does not mean Acadia will okay you will rise above that and do better there is no better I personally believe that this executive director and assistant director it's just telling us that you guys at Acadia corporate are making these rules and I don't think you guys really are unless I'm wrong could you please clear that up for me I mean this is why at the Vancouver clinic you guys have such a small amount of clients nobody wants to be forced to take classes and nobody wants to have to wait for years to get a take home that's the thing of the past and if companies don't start coming into the future like everybody else they will just become dinosaurs. The reason I think that Acadia cannot be telling their program directors to foresee's classes on us and don't get any covid carries even when it becomes permanent is because it just does not make good sense why would Acadian not want people more people to get sober to be satisfied with their care and to stay sober why would Acadia not want more people to come to treatment? In closing my wife and I have never been treated so terribly we both do all that we can for our community and our fellow human beings sometimes well most of the time we just don't have time to do those classes they don't fulfill me or my wife the way the volunteer work does and I would say that the good work we're doing is doing more people good including us unless sitting for an hour class if Acadia really is saying that these are absolutely mandatory no excuses is there any way that my wife and I can possibly not be excused from them but stop being harassed when we only do two or three can we please get some kind of a path that says we will put forth as much effort as we can to do as many as we can but if we fall short okay the important thing is that we get clean and sober not that we listen to somebody blow hot air around the room and everybody sitting around talking about drugs. Talk about a trigger and that's why most of us poor unfortunate addicted souls don't like these classes because a lot of times they are triggers and in this case with the Vancouver Washington office the classes are definitely triggers because these classes keep most of us completely upset because we're being harassed daily about taking them thank you for your time I hope that this is addressed because if not I am certainly going to address it with my ombudsman the newspaper and anybody else that will listen I've never in my life been told that I will not get my dose if I do not comply that's shameful shameful. My name is Michael J Ickes my dosing number is 18558 I go to the CTC program in Vancouver Washington my wife's name is Angelique Sexton hurt dosing number is 192 46 we hope that you have a blessed safe and healthy rest of your year whoever is reading this our phone number is 564-208-** ** or 564-208-**** thank you User's recommendation: If you're serious about trying to get clean and you would like to have or be treated like an adult and like a citizen just like anybody else you may not want to go to the Vancouver treatment center or Acadia healthcare system that program I am hoping that the things that the director at that program is telling us is just not true that it's not coming from Acadia that Acadia is not these uncaring unfilling people they just want money I don't believe that but we'll see and I will certainly let everybody know what I would recommend in the future for Acadia is that if these classes are just offered but not mandatory to get take-homes or to get well anything to not be harassed then okay is somehow needs to make this known to the clients if Acadia has no problem with the covid carries that are going to become permanent and don't mind if their treatment programs use it then okay you somehow needs to let the clients know this because what these programs do is make you guys the bad guys because they think we have no recourse but some of us are smart enough to pick up the phone

How much time can three classes take up in a thirty day period? You have to follow their rules. Don’t schedule volunteer work then say you did not have the time for classes.
