I am trying to get an issue resolved and nobody is able to help. My stuff is getting sent to the wrong address and no one is able to help me so far

I bought the package of 6 treatments from Groupon it seemed like a good deal but you get what you pay for

I had 5 of the 6 treatment underarm with Vickie ( who I will discover later that she's the owner so bear with me )

she just does like maybe 3 strokes with the laser and be done in less than 2 minutes , that been said she doesn't get all the hair so I see poor to no results ( I did Laser treatments in a different place before & I know that they move the probe on every single spot to hit all the hairs)

on my last appointment she wasn't there so her student technician Kathy did the session & oh boy she did a marvelous thorough job getting every single hair in there that's when I thanked her about her precision she told me she's told so a lot & as a compensation for not seeing results with Vicky she offered me a free treatment

when I went to the free treatment I found out that Kathy is fired & Vicky basically YELLED that she knows what she's doingSaying STOP I know what I'm doing & that Kathy is just doing the session slowly (REALLY)

of course she wouldn't honor the free treatment & offered to dispute my case to the doctor in another appointment only to discover from the receptionist that she is the Owner & the doctor basically work for her

I was going there with the intention of paying a gratitude to Kathy & buying another package if only she would be my technician for all treatments ( so money is not my issue , quality & courteousness is

But after dealing with this unprofessional owner with bad customer service & bad attitude Plus doing poor job she lost me as a customer also I would never recommend her business

There was no receptionist on duty. I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes past my scheduled appoinment and I had to rescedule another of my appointments due to delay.

Two othetrs who were also past their appointmrnt times left. No tv in the chintzy waiting room. Posted sign said I would be charged if I was late or that amount of time removed from my treatment. It seems this outfit triple books appointments.

Hmm i was not offered a discount for the time I spent in the waiting room. Poor customer service. Certainly not prfessional.

They need remedial customer service and office management lessons. Dont waste your tme or money

I bought the Groupon and met with Vickie for a consultation, at which time we agreed to a treatment and scheduled it. On the day of the treatment, they called to cancel my appointment.

I rescheduled for a month later (they had nothing sooner) and when I went in on that day, we once again reviewed what treatment I would be getting. Then, the doctor gave me a different treatment! When I spoke up, they told me to schedule another treatment, for which I would be charged the standard price. Basically they use the Groupon to get you in the door but to see any results you're going to have to pay for multiple treatments.

Dishonest and scammy. Not to mention it's a dumpy place.

After visiting a long time friend I've not seen in eight years, she texted me saying that none of her friends that I'd met believed that I am ten years older than she! I gave credit to my mom and dad (genetics!) and to About Face.

I have been concise and honest in this review of About Face. I have no regrets to have entrusted myself to their care.

Before I purchased a Groupon for a laser facial and neck rejuvenation. Not knowing exactly what this entailed I called "About Face" and spoke with the receptionist.

She didn't know a lot but basicly the treatment stimulated collegen and a healthy glow with no down time or discomfort. Sign me up, right? When you walk in you know immediately you've made the wrong choice. The waiting room is shabby,tacky and run down looking.

There are "don't be late for your appointment warnings" all over the sign in desk (yet I was kept waiting for 15 minutes while the staff laughed loudly behind the door) Next I was told to lay down while Vicky read the warnings of the procedure without first looking at my skin , asking what I would like to accomplish or discussing what would be done. Oh and btw they would need to numb my face with a topical medication for 45 minutes! I sat up to have a more professional, in depth conversation (this appeared to irritate Vicky) Also while going over my paperwork of info, Vicky did not believe that I am medication free asking me to clearify if I take anything on a daily basis. I told her I do take a multi vitamin, at which she snidely replied "that's medication dear!" Bad vibe to the highest power, I pulled off the cap, stood up and grabbed my purse.

She said if you're not serious about the treatment you can ask for a refund from Groupon, then loudly told the staff in the office "She wants a refund go ahead and throw her paper work away!" (I did receive a full refund from Groupon) I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I am in a position that I see over 20 clients a day, many asking for referrals to good skin care.

I will be telling each and every one of them, and then they will tell their friends about my experience at this shoddy little place. *** experience

I would never go to this place again even if they paid me. I spent over 1,200$ and a year of my time in order to do laser hair removal on my arms and even after 7 treatments the hair is all growing back with only a slight improvement.

I have now been forced to go somewhere else and spend every more more in order to get this problem taken care of. Vickey never showed any compassion and instead blamed my genetics for the lack of progress although initially she told me I was the perfect candidate for laser hair removal (I have light skin and very dark hair). When I would visit her office she was always rude and very short with me and each time I commented that I saw no progress she said to just give it time.

She was extremely careless and always in a rush, usually finishing full arm treatments in less then 10 minutes. If you actually want laser hair removal that works don't even consider going to About Face.

I struggle with how people sleep at night. Not having a ton of money to begin with, I was hesitant to try Velashape.

I was so miserable with the cellulite and not being able to live a normal life enjoying the summer with my kids wearing a bathing suit and shorts, I let her talk me into $3k worth of nothing. There was no difference!

I was told the treatments would last an hour but they only lasted about 20 minutes and I seemed rushed. I never got the before and after photos as proof.

Don't know what people are complaining about. I have had the MOST wonderful experience.

Vicki has done GREAT and completed work in a most professional manner. The staff is friendly and most helpful. I am delighted with my procedures (E-Matrix, Velashape and Laser Hair Removal) . It took a few treatments, but Vicki explained the procedures in detail and expected results.

I hope that anyone that is pissed ( unlikely) has the guts to talk to people and get their issues corrected INSTEAD of trashing great businesses on a web site as this. Great job ABOUT FACE and I will continue to have procedures at your facility.

Customer service at About Face is horrible; they will ruin your skin while happily taking your money and promising results that they cannot deliver. Francine performed electrolysis on my face.

She was the worst. She assured me that she had gotten all the hair on my face but when I looked in the mirror I had to point out hair on my face that she missed. Ummmm that was very disconcerting. What's more, I had terrible scabbing all over my face that took months to heal.

Needless to say, I will never be returning to About Face.

I am horrified that this place is even in business.

promised permanent hair loss with lazer treatments. I have more hair today than I did before I was getting the treatments. It's just like Chem-lawn, when the weeds come it either rained too much or too little. Always some excuse as to why treatments don't work.

Example: 1. you didn't have enough treatments 2. you have to keep coming back periodically 3. hormones and age will play a part 4.

sometimes laser will actually stimulate the hair follicles and cause more growth 5. Oh, you must have tweezed at some point in your life 6. You have 9 bazillion hairs in one square in. on your face, so ...

it'll take a while

The list goes on and on. Bottom line...

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON LAZER.

The esthetician at About Face, Columbus Ohio did a microcurrent facial on me. She stretched and pulled my face.

I told her skin stretching/pulling is not a good idea. She laughed.

You might say, why didn't I get up and leave? Well, the reason I didn't is because she convinced me stretching and pulling my face was the thing that had to be done while using microcurrent.

So, I thought she was the expert, not me.

When I got home, I washed my face of the goop she'd put on it. Looked in the mirror, and the few lines in my face were deeper than before I went to her.

I hoped my skin would heal itself of her abuse. But it didn't. So I went back into the office to complain.

The owner of the business yelled at me that to do microcurrent you have to stretch and pull the skin. She actually started yelling at me. Finally she yelled 'get out'. And as I left I very calmly said to her 'you don't have to be so belligerent'. She yelled (yet again) - 'I'm not being belligerent'.

I will be reporting this company to the medical board, since the owner is licensed by the medical board - and she's just an electrologist.

Beware of these places. They're everywhere. They are great sales people. But you only have one face.

Both times in was in the office, no one else was there. Maybe I was their only customer? Maybe I was their only hope? Who knows.

The owner was a little snide with me during laser treatment because I left a message to try and get an appointment they offered. She said, "why the hurry all of a sudden?" Well, the hurry all of a sudden was that the receptionist told me I wouldn't be able to get in for a month if I didn't take THAT appointment THAT day.

I needed to check my calendar and when I called back, no one answered for hours. (It was during business hours.) Weird place. Oh and the laser didn't work one bit. Wish I cold get my money back and go to Nina Deep or the Sullivan Center.

I was so excited too -- what a let down!
