Abbotts Frozen Custard

Please Do Not bring your Children or Grandchildren to Abbots Frozen Custard. My Girlfriend and I were attacked at Abbotts by a large group of Gangmembers who were friends with 2 of the female servers.

None of the gang members had purchased anything. They were talking to the girls when they noticed my girlfriend. That is when the trouble stared. After the incident (there were over 10 of the them) I told one of the abbotts employees to call 911.

She refused. I called myself from another location. When the police arrived, they denied knowing them, even though I had overheard one of the first names.

I called corporate about this event, and they informed me that they had also been in a gang once, and really did not see a problem?!!!

Infact, they tried to deny the event happened even though the police investigated, and concluded that indeed the events transpired and one 18 year old was convicted as a result of his role in this incident. Apparently, the saftey of their customers is not very important. Since they advertise themselves as a family friendly place, I want to warn everyone. Please be careful!

Their hiring/saftey policies put everyone at risk. Please consider caefully when thinking of bringing children to this company.

It may be much more than icecream than you receive.

When I brought this to corporate's attention the corporate employee said she was in a gang when she was young. She was willing to do nothing, and kept telling me the marketing manager (her boss) was very busy. Apparantly, Abbotts is too busy to discuss the saftey of their customers and do not care about the integrity of their brand. I called back later and she denied the event happened, even thogh the police investigated and concluded the events happened just as I said, and one of the 18 year olds was convicted.

Since they tell everyone they are a family business, I caution parents, grandparents and families. Do not be fooled by their marketing. DO NOT take your children to Abbott's Frozen Custard for their own saftey! It is not the family place they claim.

The company seems more concerned with taking people's money than saftey.
