I was told he hears it daily and he just works there, I asked him to pass it to his supervisor and was told it would not do any good.

I told him they just lost a member, he said sorry. Do not use their ads for best price or any other promotion please

Motorcycle insurance

AI Highlights
  • - Premium rose after my husband died, with no other financial changes.
  • - I believe the increase is due to the rider becoming female after his death.

When my husband died and I notified Foremost to take him off the policy they raised my premium. The only thing that changed was that my husband had died.

Nothing changed with my finances. My husbands social security was stopped but I went to work to cover that so my income has not changed. I have only one debt to my name which I changed from an no interest card to another no interest card when the first promotion was ending. If this is their made up reason for raising my premium then shame on them for penalizing me for being a good steward of my resources.

I am 76 years of age and my 2012 cycle has 115 miles on it.

The only reason they could possibly have for raising my premium was that my male husband died so the rider is now female. Since this is a company that AARP allows to associate their name shame on AARP.

Cons:
  • Raising my premium because of husband death

Preferred solution: Price reduction
