I heard awhile back that they where allowing veteran to enter and purchase items. Here in Kuwait, they have a system where the only allow entry at certain times is this because were in Kuwait. I'm a veteran serving here and just wanted to know.

Fort lee business staffs are not doing their job properly. They are not treating the business owners equal. We pay % from our sales, and yet I feel like they just treat me different from others.

I placed an order July 27 2020, and waited until July 29th before calling to verify my order was indeed received and to also verify the shipping information. According to your website, orders ship with in 24 hours.

I called on the 29th and AAFES could not verify that my order was shipped so I was given the direct number to In The Swim. I contacted customer service, and the agent stated they did not have an order for my name address email, zip code nor did they know anything about Myonlineexchange.com. The agent assured me that she would look into the matter and contact me the next day. (this did not happen).

I called on the 30th and again the same answers. I ended up calling AAFES customer service who then was able to locate the order again and the shipping information (which basically did not have a d date or tracking number), and cancelling the order all together.

Veteran abuse!

The online AAFES exchange service is restricted to active duty and retired Army Air Force personnel. The largest group of online users are Retired Vets. With the Pandemic this number has increased. These folks who claim to be affiliated with the military are rude, impersonal and incompetent. The right to shop AAFES had to be earned yet the pricing is horrible, logistics is disgraceful and inventory control routinely places items on sale with no or minimal stock and do not offer rain checks, additionally its it uncommon for a Vet to order an item indicated in stock and then involuntarily cancelled by AFFES with no recourse as happened recently when ordering essential PPE equipment in stock at time of ordering and rationed to wait two weeks and have them to cancel the item without by permission or offer a back order status. Items , even toothpaste in stock everywhere we have waited a week before ever getting a shipment status. They claim to focus on Vets but this is a bust but more than that being confronted with Neolithic incompetence as a reward for 28 years and two wars. Absolutely needs serious oversight.

Unable to reset password

The website indicates that the code is being texted. but I nevered received it. Then attempted to email the code, again I never received it. I'm using this media because every form of communication that I could find on the websitw, required log in to use.

On 12th June 20 My wife & I decided to shop on base using her 20yrs of service gift certificate. (1) It does not simplify to spend the entire amount of $400 or loose the remaining amount. It has 25% off on each item..2:48hrs- lefft the exchange at 5:10pm. Going the thru the register was hectic (2) the cashier has take off 25% each item each time,time consuming. Imagine 50 items to deal with. Since we could not get the rest we decided to come back.She asked to put the remaining balance on AAFES gift card.Cashier does not the gift card on hand.She went to the customer service for help.Was told she can't put the balance on gift card. We just have to loose it.We disagreed.They called for a manger.F/E supervisor Robyn came with Ms Lans with an attitude saying you can't listen to the employees and the customers, this is out f/e area with others customers around. I was there listening to Robyn and Lans arguing on our purchase. Paula name was mentioned that she does not the employees with gift certificate any balance put on AAFES gift card. (3) The entire ordeal was uncalled for..(4) Wait time for us 1 hour,(5) untrained cashiers with employees entitled gift certificate.(6) Management poor support to both customers and employees.(7) Other employees whom received this gift certificate recently on their purchases their balance was put on Aafes gift card.(8) Double standards.(9) Reflection from this store does indicate they do have issues towards employees and customers alike.Yet to hear or see great things about AAFES will never happen.Have to treat customers and employees alike better. Work for Retail for over 30 years. Treated my employees and customers a lot better as a manager..

You wrote a review for Camp Mabry Aafes/PX6 hours ago 3.0 star rating6/4/2020 I purchased something here at 6/4/20 11:21 a.m. Hadn't been here in years so I wanted to look around. Picked up a DVD player, looked some more, then walked to the register. I told the cashier that I needed some bread, could I get that first before I paid for the DVD? She said yes, it was all the same store. Searched for bread, couldn't find any and headed back towards the registers. Saw the same cashier standing near the door and wanted to ask her where the bread was. That's when I overheard another cashier, and obese white woman, talking loudly. "Watch that guy, I think he's trying to steal something!" I move towards the first cashier. Obese woman: "There he goes! He's headed out the door. No, he's just asking her a question. Watch him!" I ask the first cashier where the bread is and she says they don't carry any, so I head towards the registers. Obese cashier: "Now he's coming back." I shouldn't have to say why this pissed me off. After serving my country for 22 years I can't go into a PX without listening to some obese employee insulting me.

Rude employee

I went to the shopette on MCchord airforce base in Tacoma, WA were I work and was told that I could not buy alcohol. He said it was due to a new rule that I did not know about that there were to be no sales before 0800am. I can understand that part. the second part he then proceeded to tell me that I did not have the proper ID card to buy it anyways and that there was a new veterans ID and that I had the old one still. If AAFES is going to keep changing the policies every few months then I can shop somewere else like winco that values me as a customer. I am so sick of being treated like I don't matter when I am a 90 percent disabled veteran that put in 11 years in service.

Delivery complaint

My wife ordered twin recliners in late May, and in early June we only received one chair, the shipper said they were informed of one chair. We immediately informed AAFES and any employee informed us that we would hear something within hours and no one ever called. Two months after the initial delivery we never heard from AAFES. We finally reached reached someone on Sunday 26 July, and after a long discussion and investigation it was divulged that second was never back ordered, and the order was only placed after we called. This has a grueling and totally unprofessional process. They offered to give us 15% off the order, however after this experience we demand a lot more.

Aafes Exchange - Do not order online!
I ordered a Samsung QLED 65" TV on January 9th 2020 and AAFES informed me that it was out for delivery on the 14th of January 2020. It is now the 17th of January and AAFES doesn't know where the TV is. AAFES informed me that Innovel is tasked with delivering the TV. I contacted Innovel and they are unable to ship the TV as I am outside of their shipping area. I am now told that the TV is now with XPO logistics and that it may take over 720 hours to complete the delivery. But XPO logistics does not have the TV. I live an 1 hour and a half from where the TV was originally. I requested to pick up the TV myself and was denied.

I bought a table from the exchange and Montgomery Airfreight called me on two different days to set up delivery. I was available and was home both days and the company did not call or deliver my product. No one could tell me why. I called SEKO logistics and they didnt know where my purchase was located. I called the exchange customer service number and all they could do is open a research ticket. Both Montgomery Airfreight (Lisa) and Delores from SEKO could offer not help or resolve on my issue and customer service just told me to sit at home and weight they have 21 days to deliver. I understand the 21 day policy but what I dont understand is why anyone thinks its acceptable to make customers wait for their delivery from 11-3 on two different days with not as much as a call to say they were not coming. I will not shop from the exchange online again and I dont think I will get my order and will have to struggle to get my money back. Never felt so ripped off before by any other company.
