AAA sneaky bastards

As you sign up for AAA they tell you nothing of what there policies for not towing or what they honor or dont honor in ther policies. I had a car that has been broken for a while and want to get it running. I cant get the regestration current due to the car not working. I cant get the car to the shop because they want to randomly say that they wont tow the car. They need to be forth coming in their policies instead of being sneaky, and liars. All it takes is to be honest with your customers. Stop lying to the consumer AAA.

DISPLEASE WITH SERVICE

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter in order to complain about a car that i rented from your agency recently. When i colliected it from your city branch, i noticed clouds of smoke coming from teh exhaust pipe. i told your representative that i required a dependale vehicle as i would be making a long journey, and he assured me that i would not have any mechanical difficulties with it. Howver, as soon as i took it for a longer trip it broke down, leaving me stranded 200 km from the nearest town. To make matters worse, the air-conditioning stopped working as well. Consequently, after several hours aof waitings, first for help and then for repairs, i had to drive on in the summer heat. Since irented this car on your representativ's advice, i feel that i am entitled to request a full refund. Yours faithfully, Jamie ***

AAA Membership not worth it...

I paid for a premier AAA package. I broke down in a shopping center at 7pm....so I called, 2 hours which I heard is not bad for them. A tow truck came by and told me that he could not tow the car, because there is a tire shop in the mall and I might owe them money. The tire shop was closed and he said he needed to speak with the owner prior to towing my car. WTF? I am not even parked close to the *** tire shop its on the OTHER SIDE OF THE MALL. any ways I had to call a taxi and tomorrow I have to miss a day of work, and go to the tire shop have the tow truck driver speak with the tire shop and then get my car towed. So if you break down and have AAA make sure you don't break down next to any kind of auto shop or in a plaza or mall on the other side might be a sears or something......AAA is Fraud and I say to anyone who wants a service to ask you Insurance provider because they probably have some service where the people actually do their job. I am actually very tired and speechless. I hate AAA.

Why would the fact that you "may" owe the tire shop money have anything to do with you AAA membership. Assuming it was up to date.

And what difference would it make if you were located near this shop.

You PAY for AAA and you called AAA for help. It should have been a no brainer.

A AAAadvantage Auto Transport is a scam

I paid them $1,000 on 6/23/08. They pick up my car on 7/21/08. It's 8/18/08. They have not delivered my car yet. Today I spoke with Kelley( my 3rd inquiry) and she told me it could be another 6 months. They told me I could drive 150 miles to another city and pick it up.I think they have stolen my car. Her last words were that I could go ahead and sue them. I see I am not the first customer to have to take them to court. I plan to do so in Federal Court. Run..don't walk from them. If anyone has had a similar problem, please contact me @ dokmike@***.net.

Mislead about delivery schedule

I needed transport my car across country. AAAdvantage Auto Transport (aka Carmoves) of Tempe Arizona repeatedly promised to delivery my car within 10-14 days. I even rushed to drop off my car at their shipping site. After 14 days, I called to check. My car hadn't even left their shipping site! I had to rent a car for a week. Do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not, do not rent from this company

Very Poor Customer Service & Unable to Fulfill Contract Obligations

I scheduled CARMOVES to transport my vehicle by June 19th for $895. Though I frequently spoke with CARMOVES (four, two, and one week out, as well as, at 96, 72, and 48 hours out), they were unable to either express to me that they would be unable fulfill the contract or set the vehicle for pick-up. It wasn't until the 19th of June that CARMOVES told me that they were unable to met the contract obligations. I had already paid $200 to set the rate and dates. When I confronted them on waiting until the date of pick-up to tell me they would be unable to fullfill the contract obligations, there only response was that I "fell through the cracks" and that they could not make any money at the price they quoted. If they would have addressed their concerns a week or two prior to the 19th, I would have been agreeable to a price increase. A price increase on the 19th was absolutely out of the question. I felt as if I was being suckered. The CARMOVES sales rep that I dealt with was TJ. I am of the opinion that this individual is untrustworthy and based on the other reviews of this company, CARMOVES is run very poorly and should be avoided at all costs.

AAA Advantage CarMoves, Tempe,AZ

I, Karen Smutny paid carmoves $1,195.00 to haul a vehicle to Orland, Ca. I purchased a 1973 Dodge Power Wagon for my nephew on 4-1-08. They refused to adhere to their contract. A Debora Sechler contacted us for more money once they accepted our payment. It is more than a reasonable amount of time, & I am waiting for a full refund into my citi cards account. CarMoves has been contacted numerous times by my brother ( John Smutny) ,who lives in CA. He helped me with the transaction. Now my nephew is very dissapointed with any car moving companies in the U.S. Debora Sechler e-mailed us "WE ARE NOT BOUND BY LAW TO THE PRICE QUOTED"

AAA Advantage Auto Transport shady

I agreed to ship my car with this shipping company after being informed it would take 1-10 days to ship my car from Michigan to California. After putting a downpayment of 200 dollars and after they had not picked up my vehicle in the promised week, I was told the pickup would happen within another week hopefully and that shipment could take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month or more and an official timeframe could not be ensured. I canceled, shipped promptly with another transporter and am still being hasseled for my 200 dollar down payment. I was misled, wasted my time, and was provided no service. Take a hike AAA!

aaa advantage are very hard to get hold of

be aware when using them like many broker they like to have your credit card for down payment then you are hooked.

i own a car transport and a broker company and we never ask for a deposit why we have your car so everythink is payable on delivery
