A.A. Animal ER Center

In the early morning hours of 10/20/12, a stray black cat that we were feeding became deathly ill. By his symptoms he seemed he'd been poisoned. this was despicable. we rushed him to the above referenced animal er,located at 36401 us 19 n, palm harbor fl. by the time we arrived, he had passed. we never saw the dr on duty. we weren't allowed back there, for some reason. we left his body there for disposal. we were in shock. the next day we went and got him, to bury him in our backyard, which we thought honored him, as opposed to being sent to a cremation location. the woman at the front desk, whose name is Sharon, literally flicked her hands at us, like we were insects, and when we in the process of trying to ask her a question, she said to us 'I HAVE THINGS TO DO". Really? Your couldn't answer a simple question, Sharon? She was unbelievably rude and insensitive. I will NEVER go to this vet in the future, no matter what. Can't speak about the doctor, never saw her, but Sharon totally lost our future business. I also had called and asked for the owner, Dr. Stanton, to call us and discuss this awful situation, but of course, no call has been forthcoming.

Puppy Died

I recently had a problem with Animal ER center regarding a puppy that died. 3 weeks ago we got a 6-7 week old puppy and after having him for 3 weeks one night around 11:00 pm he started to choke on a piece of puppy chow. My wife then started to freak out so she recalled seeing this place that isn't to far from home and we rushed him up there. They did some testing and determined some manger damage was done internally and put him on oxygen and came back with a bill that ranged from 700 to 1200 dollars. with out going into alot of details I agreed to sign for the medical care to make all us happy and they informed me he would be fine. We left around 12:30 am and recieved a call he went into cardiac arrest. They perofrmed CPR on him and said he wouldn't make if they take him off support. He died 2.5 hrs later. When I wanted to pick him they insisted on paying a bill of about 900 dollars. I can't believe after devasting are whole family they want 900 dollars for less then 3 hrs of work. Places like this really *** me off. You don't want anything to happy to any pet but they really have you pinned against the wall when there is no place open late.
