A1a towing is a scam

A1A Towing and Parking Enforcement - A1a towing is a scam

They are in cahoots with the attendant at the lot. They tell you to park, fail to tell you not to pay with the ParkMobile app (even though there are signs EVERYWHERE in the lot directing you to pay via app) and then when you leave, thinking you paid for your spot, the attendant calls A1A and gets you towed within minutes.

$169 towing fee plus $9 ParkMobile fee that you already paid and you can pick up your car. Biggest scam in Florida!!!

I cannot believe that this is still going on. I feel that we need to make a complaint to Hollywood Police Department and also bring it to the news team stations.

Something has to be done about this. I went through the same thing yesterday and it is unbelievable as a law abiding citizen to have such a horrible thing happen.

It is the true definition of an organized crime and the owner of the parking lot is in collaboration with the A1 A towing and parking enforcement. I saw and witnessed exactly what you stated in your comment above.

A1A Towing and Parking Enforcement - Me robaron 74$

Predatory towing tactics

I parked in one of their lots on Friday, May 20, 2022. This company engages in extreme predatory towing.

Their payment kiosks have been deliberately tampered with, with portions of the directions being scratched out. It says parking is $4.50 an hour, but as soon as you put in your card you are automatically charged $11.00. There is a sketchy lot attendant that will follow you around the boardwalk after you pay. Even after you have paid, if you havent displayed the receipt on your dashboard, they will tow and impound your car IMMEDIATELY even if you still have time on the meter.

I paid $11.00 and came back an hour later and my car was gone. There was an employee in the lot booting other vehicles and she was laughing at me when I asked where my car was. It cost me $170 to get my car out of impound even though I still had time on my meter and my license plate number had been entered into the kiosk. The owner will laugh and taunt you when you question his unethical practices.

These people are predatory and hover around the lot waiting to boot and tow every single vehicle they can, even if you have time on your meter. They are unethical and shouldnt be in business.
