Horrible cleaning job and refused to repair damages caused by employees
I used A Perfect Shine Cleaner to clean the house I was renting 4 months ago and it was the worst nightmare I have ever experienced. The cleaning was terrible, the quote substantially less than the actual charge, and a glass shower door was broken by one of the cleaners and not repaired. The owner Keven Cromly was rude and tried to blame the breakage on me after I was told time and time again by his representatives that they would be repairing the shower door. I wound up spending over $1300 to have the house cleaned as a result of having to replace the shower door, paying a cleaning charge by my landlady of $355.00 (since A Perfect Shine did such a terrible job cleaning in the first place), and paying A Perfect Shine $465 for their services. Once again - worst experience ever.

Do not trust A Perfect Shine of San Diego to do any commercial or residential cleaning for you. Their staff does not speak English, not productive, they will work as long as they care to, lie about their starting time, and then make up billing amounts. Kevin, the owner, is a psycho, ans cannot be dealt with rationally. Their website, www.aperfectshine.com is misleading and inaccurate in terms of the time estimated per job. Don't let them work alone, the momement staff lets up, shoo them out the door. Recommend you clean it yourself, or find someone off the street.

A Perfect Shine
A Perfect Shine did a great job on our home. We were so pleased!
We set up a regular service. I wish all service companies as were professional as A Perfect Shine!
I just had the misfortune of using these guys to clean my condo. I wanted the place clean for my wife who was pregnant. Unfortunately she went into labor the night before our scheduled appointment. I scrambled to get someone to let them in. The crew did have to wait outside for 15 minutes until I could someone to let them in. So here is my experience with them.
1. They broke my bedroom curtain.
2. They locked my cat in a bedroom and lever let her out
3. They were clearly in things that no cleaning crew should be into
4. Somehow they were there 2.25 hours and charged me $225 for a job that was estimated at under $150. And that doesn't include the 15 minute wait. I have a 1200 sq. ft condo. $225 is crazy high. I feel they took advantage of me with my wife being in labor. Unfortunately, my neighbor wasn't sharp enough to look out for me on this one.
This could have been a fluke but it was pretty upsetting.
We have used A Perfect Shine to clean our carpets on several occasions. In my opinion they work very quickly.
In Southern California it is not uncommon for workers to speak languages other than English, I don't know what that has to do with the professionalism of the company. In my dealings with Kevin he was more a mellow surfer dude, I never have seen a psycho side of him.
We are so pleased with A Perfect Shine. They perform all our cleaning and we have had great experiences each time!
A Perfect Shine Cleaning has been cleaning our home in La Jolla on a weekly basis for the past 4 years. They have always been extremely professional and polite. It seems to me the complaintant is a racist and is not accostomed to having a professional cleaning service!
