I am going to let the photos speak for themselves but if you need some bathroom reading, please continue to read.

Less than two weeks after the initial installation, I contacted John, the owner, numerous times with details and photos documenting the issues. I wasted so much of my own time trying to get him to stand by his work and product.

I just wanted the broken and cracked posts and fence slats to be replaced, all the protruding nails to be hammered in, and the handle to be put on my gate. The owner initially said that the cracks on the posts were and I quote a natural process, you purchased a product that was once alive, and once it was harvested (weeks ago), it started to naturally age. Nothing you can do about that part of the process except seal it to slow that down.

This fence was less than two weeks old. If this is the normal process, why didnt this happen to all the wood on our fence or to all my neighbors fences that were installed by other companies?

If you look at the photos, you will see that the broken and cracked posts are a direct result of the poor quality of work and product. We had our previous fence for over 20 years before we had any issues requiring it to be replaced.

Finally, after MANY emails, the owner called and agreed to replace the broken posts and correct all the photographed issues. He even said that he was supposed to charge me extra for the additional wood used for toad protection and wouldnt because of all the aggravation we went through. If you see the photo of the quote John gave me, the total included the extra wood for the toads, he was not supposed to charge me extra for anything.

After his crew came out the fix all the issues, I thought the nightmare was finally over.

Of course not. Less than 24 hours after the fixing, one of the fixed posts is broken and cracking. See photos. I attempted to contact John, the owner, twice and have yet to receive a response which is why I am resorting to writing this.

He does not stand by his work or products.

A couple of side notes that have nothing to do with the fence itself, be prepared because right after installation, the crew leaves everything a mess. Our yard was destroyed in multiple spots and not just the expected area near the fence. We had to install new sod in many places not even near the fence. The crew left nails, screws, and small pieces of wood throughout the yard.

They broke two sprinkler heads and several ceramic decorations. I understand accidents happen but they didnt even bother to notify me, they just left all the broken shards on the ground. The ceramic decorations were not even near the work site. It was like they dropped the construction materials wherever they felt like, not bothering to look if anything was there.

I never mentioned these side notes to the owner because my main concern was trying to get the fence fixed.
