Veteran day
My husband and I went to our local pub 99 in dayville ct. before I went I called ahead and asked if they were doing a veteran day menu.
On Saturday November 11 and the answer was yes. When we got there after sitting down we asked for the menu for veterans , the waitress said they did the menu on November 10, I explained I called ahead.
She went and checked came back and said no but pub 99 always gives 10 percent
I was totally disappointed, but since we were there we ate oh wow we got. 3.68 cents off our bill.
When we were there another couple asked for the veteran menu. Was told the same thing.
Veteran day is November 11.
All the other restaurants such as Applebees, steak houses were doing November 11. Was November 10during the day a way to save money?..
I just want you to know how this made us feel considering we frequent.

I ordered a dinner on 8/24/23 from the 99 app Westford Ma to have dinner delivered at 5:30; app kept freezing I was notified my dinner arriving 1:30 I called Westford 99 as to how to I fix this as I was not home Delightful staff tried to help me; until I spoke to manager meghan. She assumed I went through door dash which I did not and she said talk to them for reimbursement.
. I said I want to reorder but not get charged twice. She said we made the food I cant credit you. I put a 10 tip in the order.
I order aprox $ 300-350 in take out a month for years and during covid pick up. What she said didn't bother me as much as how she said it. Rude condescending short and terse. Not my usual style I replied in kind and hung up.( I regret that unbecoming) I will no longer order from 99.
She took no time to ask details or offer a compromise.
Please note others I spoke to kind and tried to help. Professional

On 6/1/23 we stopped in at the Nashua NH 99, had wings a a couple of beers, had i nice conversation with the people next to us.
When my wife asked for the Tab "PRAISE" the bartender, told my wife you can wait, "YOU'RE A RACISTS"
WHAAAAAT!!!
My wife was absolutely shocked. so was I, None of our conversation had anything to do with whatever she was thinking
We got up and took the Tab to another Bar Tender,
The other Bar Tender said she "PRAISE" has run off all of our Regular customers and makes our lives miserable.
We Eat out every day and go to a 99 3 to 4 times per week.. We have never been treated like this and unless PRAISE is disciplined or fired, we are done with the 99

I wanted to let you know about the experience I had today in Torrington Connecticut I eat at many 99 restaurants they are my favorite today I waited in a booth for over 25 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me I did flag the manager over because I was on my lunch break he was so rude finally when a Rachel came over and took our order it took forever to come out not to mention my chicken fingers were rock hard in my sirloin tips were so overcooked I could not eat anything I had treated my friend Diane for lunch and I feel like I completely wasted my money I work very hard for my money and to spend $35 on such a *** lunch and service I just can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am I would have asked for my money back or a credit or something but I couldn't even get the manager to come back over because he knew I was upset again I eat at 99s all over it is my favorite eat out spot today was a disaster Torrington has really gone downhill the bathrooms were filthy I couldn't believe it what a change.

I was talking with friends and a 99 employee Bob, we were all sitting and talking and politics came up and I said Id like if people just ducking respected each other and relaxed. A server put her hands on me and asked I lower my voice and arch the vulgarity.
I then explained I would watch my vulgarity but not my volume, and asked her to get her hands OFF of me. There is no reason ever for that and Marilyn (?) shouldve known better especially due to her age. I am NOT happy, I am NOT ok with being touched and then she complained to her manager about me AFTER her hands were on me. This is not acceptable and she shouldnt have a job if thats the way she speaks to people.
I am not going back while she is employed there and the number of people that go there to meet me will also not go back. Jen the manager seemed to do a great job when speaking to her and the woman didnt come back to me. When I left I apologized to the server for my language but made it clear that she shouldnt put her hands on anyone and asked for her name and she walked away from me. She refused to give me her name and I had to ask someone else for it.
Truly unprofessional. I am disgusted at this situation because as a man if I were to do that I wouldve left in handcuffs and Bob from the 99 agreed with me that someone wouldve called the police on me had the situation been reversed. I have been visiting there for three decades and never seen something so irresponsible or disrespectful from ANYONE that works there. Again I apologized for my language but not my volume, Im a loud person.
But once hands were put on my I cant even explain my disdain, my disbelief and my disgust. Totally inappropriate, and if something isnt done to handle this I will make sure to post online, yelp, and anyone that will listen that this was totally inappropriate and unacceptable.

First off, I never complain. But when you have a 1.5 year old in the car waiting for a to go order that was ready at 8:44pm and its handed to us cold at 9:11pm, is a little much.
Why do we put in our car information when we order online if a random woman in a pink top is going to come out and ask us who were picking up for? Weve been out all day long and havent eaten and showed up a few minutes before the order was ready and sat there waiting until it was cold while the woman who came out and asked us who we were picking up just hung out up front.
I just wanted to let someone higher up know how their restaurant is being run.

I ordered 4 to go lunches today. One order was for the large smothered tips.
The smothered tips were approximately $33. Much higher than the price listed on your website.
When I spoke to manager, he was rude and just brushed me off saying thats the price. Your website is faulty and I never would have gotten the large steak tips The small was only $21.
Too much to pay for lunch.

I have been eating at this location and now will hav second thoughts.
I asked for paper menu and was told there were none. If I have to order online, I need to know correct price beforehand.

I liked the Ninety-Nine Restaurants wherever I find myself when they use to allow us our rights to certain food items to be available
I'm beginning to feel so UNAPPRECIATED with whoever's in charge of the national corporate but understand that since it's nationally located out in "Woburn, Massachusetts" may just want the "Ninety-Nine Restaurant" menus they way they want it such as for ONLY different varieties of mixed vegetables to be available but I'd really wish it would allow cooked carrots themselves to be a vegetable side without having to be so mixed in with other vegetables?! I'm also feeling UNAPPRECIATED when I found out that your corporate has ordered our rights to our food portions such as balsamic grilled chicken to be cut down SO SHORT plus having to be charged another $4-$5 for another piece of balsamic grilled chicken PLUS to COMPLETELY CUT DOWN ON COUPON PROMOTIONS to help save some money if any of the food items have to be SO EXPENSIVE in the future?!

Horrible Management “Marcus”
Honestly I can not believe nor fathom what just happened. While sitting at the bar at the 99 in Walpole.
There was an elderly gentleman across from us having dinner with his son. The place was packed. The elderly man was singing, and everyone enjoyed it and applauding him after he was done. Marcus the Manager came out and told him he can no longer sing.
Everyone got quite upset including myself.. I asked the son if he was told not to sing and son said yes. I couldn't believe what I heard, neither did the elderly husband and wife sitting nxt to me. The husband got into a convo with him and told him he's been in the music industry for 65 yrs..
Well 6 of us were then asked to leave bc we applauded him.. How on EARTH does one get kicked out of a Rest. for applauding an 88 yr old enjoying his Father's day. I'm still in shock.
Many got up and walked out cause they too could not believe what they heard. I said to Marcus "Really, with all that is going on in the World today, with ppl burning cities down, knocking over statues, murdering ppl, robbery etc, you're going to ask us to leave bc we applauded the gentleman for singing" "That's rt Ma'am and you need to leave MY BUILDING NOW" I reminded him I have been in That building long ago, it was not "His Building" He was quite snarky~~ Many said they will be calling Corporate and so will I.. This is MARCUS THE FARCUS!
We will NEVER step foot into this Establishment if Marcus is still employed here. Many others said the same as they walked out What a way to ruin Father's Day for Everyone!!

I am still pretty upset about this and the fact that no one has even bother to address it. We paid well over $100 for food that was incorrect and partially inedible.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: We used to love this place (Hooksett, NH location) but the food and quality has gone downhill and they raised the prices - $15 for one (used to be two) 6oz piece of chicken and a small side. Definitely better value for your money elsewhere.
