Being an Amazon customer means nothing to them

I ordered a purse which turned out to be too dark a color. To return it, I had to pay $20 for shipping. I would have thought that since it is owned by Amazon, and I am a Prime customer, that shipping would be free. NOT SO. Having learned a hard lesson, I will not be ordering from 6PM again.

User's recommendation: Stay away unless you are sure about your purchase.

6pm - Skechers Shoes Review from Wilmington, Delaware

I previously bought a pair of Skechers from a local store. Love them! Extremely comfortable! But I needed a pair that were black for work. So I ordered a pair of black Skechers. After wearing them for less than a day I had to change into different shoes because they hurt my feet and being on my feet all day I need something comfortable. Their return policy doesn't allow shoe returns unless their unworn. Ridiculous! You cannot truly tell how a shoe will fit by walking around in your house in them for a few minutes. So I waisted $50 for a pair shoes that I can't wear! Will no longer purchase anything from them.

6pm.com has the worst customer service

I just called again and spoke with another person after someone else there FAILED to help me out. I needed to change my shipping address after I already confirmed payement. FIRST OF ALL, I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE REP ON THE PHONE!. I don't want to sound RUDE, but her accent was so strong, I could barely understand her. Second of all, she gave me WRONG information! She obviously doesn't know the difference between a confirmation and tracking number b/c she told me to call back when I get the confirmation. While I was still on the phone with her, I got my confirmation # and then she says I need the tracking number, not confirmation. She was confusing me and HERSELF and then apologized after giving me an attitude. After informing me that i will get a FREE EXPEDITED shipping bc they continue to screw up my order TWICE, they charge me for it first, which is $25!!!!! and then I have to call back to get my refund for $25. that to me is NOT FREE! Its a HASSLE! Get better customer service.

Defective Shoes Deceptive Practices

I don't know why I have kept coming back for 5 years. Each time I think I must be the only one having problems - but it is the SAME thing every time. Slightly defective shoes, Sizes running too big or too small. These are name brands but they seem to be 2nds. Then you try to return them. BETTER KEEP THAT LITTLE SLIP OF PAPER! When you log in it will tell you in Order History about order from Last Year. But it WILL NOT SHOW LAST ORDER!!! Yes, even though you are logged in you can NOT see recent order history. You have to ALREADY Know you order number. If non of this bothers you then go a head and order. I would say that after all of these years I have only been able to keep and use 10% of my shoes. And you DO have to pay return shipping.

iI BOUGHT 6 BATH TOWLES FROM SHOPCO ON THEIR 6pm SALE. MARKED DOWN FROM 10.00 TO 5.00. I THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD DEAL. I BROUGHT THEM HOME, PUT THEM IN THE WASHER AS THE TAG SAID BEFORE USE. MIND YOU MY WASHER IS NO MORE THEN TWO YEARS OLD. WHEN I TOOK THEM OUT OF THE WASH THERE WAS ALL KINDS OF LINT PIECES. I PUT THEM IN THE DRYER. WHEN THEY WERE DRY, I PULLED THE LINT SCREEN OUT AND IT WAS CLOGGED WITH LINT. I LOOKED AT THE TOWELS AND THERE WERE PIECES AND THREADS SHOWING. I'AM ABSOLUTELY MAD ABOUT THIS. CHEAPLY MADE IN (CHINA). WHEN I GO SHOPPING EVERYTHING I LOOK AT IS MADE IN CHINA. THE PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY NEEDS TO PUT A STOP TO THIS!!!!

6PM sold me used shoes represented as new

I bought a pair of shoes on sale from 6PM (6pm.com) and they were clearly returns (i.e., used). They were worn. Suede toes were rubbed down and the soles were a little worn / scuffed. The return policy requires the buyer to pay the return shipping (even if they shipped the wrong item). This wasn't worth it to me (they were pretty cheap in the first place and I now know why). I suspect that the gig is that they hope that most people won't return mis-represented or incorrect merch. The shoes were legit, but not new. I won't buy from them again. I suspect that 6PM may be a clearing-house for the returns from Zappos -- their parent company -- and they simply represent returned product as new. Google for some complaint / review sites and you'll see the pattern about used/missing/wrong merchandise and their RMA/shipping requirements. On the plus side, ordering / payment was smooth and simple, and the shoes arrived very fast. If they were brand new, I'd be super happy.

Went to order a pair of shoes & the promo code was declined !!

On the 6PM SITE I was purchasing a pair of shoes !!! After the total, it asked for any promo codes !!! I used 4share.com/6PM !!! It was declined !!! I proceeded to telephone 6PM & spoke to a customer service person !!! She proceeded to take all my info, but when I gave her the promo code, she said it wasn't in the system !! I told her that the promo code came from US PROMO CODES FOR 2014 !!! There were 6-8 different promo codes !!! Oh !!! The promo code stated that today was the last day for that particular promo !!! Thank you !!!

My comment to the reply from the "Customer Loyalty Team" at 6pm:" Oh, I am glad I won't be a returning customer. What an inefficient company 6pm is, especially the returns and customer service departments. If you had taken the time to read the e-mail, in length, you would find that the item was returned on the 24th. You didn't even take the time to review the tracking status with the # that I provided! I am going to further my complaint with Mr. Hirsch and address my experience with 6pm to as many complaint forums that I can find. Terrible, terrible customer service and returns department.. This company certainly isn't ran as well as Zappos. Why?
