Did not accept check with sufficient funds for purchase.

Was forced to use credit card for payment when funds were available in checking account to cover purchase. This is wrong to force you to use a credit device for payment. This is not the first time this has occurred and in both instances there has been sufficient funds to cover the transaction. This does not happen at the larger retailers but at the smaller ones where you are known on a frequent basis and it is embarrasing, to say the least. I think it is a justifiable punishable offense and I am considering legal action to correct this error.

It doesn't matter if you have the money in your account to cover the cost of the check. If you have a history of bad checks you will be denied. Call the company who denied the check and find out why.
